**live game feed** vs Roosters

The issues that were pretty obvious at the start of the year remain. Halves look shaky from an injury/depth perspective, three-quarters lack pace and attacking threat, fullback looks dubious, prop rotation a player short of being truly good, backrow not quite there,

Thing is I don’t think we’re massively off the mark. Need a good centre to compliment and take pressure off Marsters. Need a winger with genuine pace, a half with a good passing game, an Ellis style backrower, a better version of Russel Packer.

@avocadoontoast

I agree put him in. Something like .....

Thompson
Nofo
Momirovski
Masters
Fonua
Marshall
Brooks

Wouldn't hurt and they could not do any worse.

@WeHaveCheeKam Totally disagree that this was our best 17.

If it is we can look forward to a few more cricket scores.

I thought 15 v 15 we were the better side but Masters and Mbye were so bad and Mitchell was,so good and teddy so much better then mbye means those 2 made a massive difference. Momorovski abd Nofa in next week for those 2 and corey to fb

Agree, scoreline doesn't reflect how we played. swap Masters for Mitchell and we win that game

I don't know if you are serious???

The Roosters dominated us. There forwards and runners got them into a position to put up a bomb in 99% of there sets tonight. We tried but were on another level, even excluding Mitchell they were a class above.

Can’t agree with Nofo Russ. He doesn’t deserve to be in first grade.

It's not far off from whats available. There is no one who would of made a difference tonight. 1-2 Changes sure but they don't really change the quality of the team that much.

@avocadoontoast Half agree Avo.

However - would not have Jennings in Z grade and think Nofo is better than anyone else we can put in there. A rookie would be even worse imo.

Agree .... off-season recruitment will make us or break us.
I’m hoping that Madge can pull a few rabbits out of the hat here!

@avocadoontoast Ok - guess we agree to differ on this.

All academic - on past teams, Madge will stick with same team I imagine.

Yes being serious, I know they go away from us but we were in this game until some class from him, not just the tries he scored. Masters certainly didn't help us today.

@TigersBusDriver it doesn't matter how many times we move these players around there's simply to many of them not up to it

@Russell yep Madge’s favourites will
be there that is for sure ..certainly no Bellamy who is tapping players on the shoulder after there performance last night..:

Nofo is a classic example of our issue. He’s likeable, has been around forever and has a nice highlight reel, tries hard etc. But by NRL standards he’s a tortoise, his defence is suspect and he’d probably be playing in the reggies for 80% of the NRL teams. If he wasn’t an internally developed player would he still be at the club? There are good tall fast wingers out there but we never seem to regard it as a priority.

@Snake

Yeah the Storm go down by 2 and Bellamy is filthy and looking to punt blokes, we get thumped every 2nd week and trot out the same side

@Telltails

Yeah I thought we just played on this season if you can't get back in the line, the first few rounds the game stopped for nothing!!
Not like last year when a player would lie down with a cramp and the ref would stop the game so we could all watch the trainer stretch his calf out.
What's going on?
