Was thinking the same. Halves always look good when you’re fowards dominate like that. I did think Billy reacted well when defence put pressure on him though

A couple of things.

Once again, not concerned about lack of media. Broncos being woeful is a big story in league and something we should be happy to see promoted. The last thing we need is smoke blown up our blurters which could lead to complacency.

No idea who won MOM (I thought Lucy) but the VB Hard Earned is some esoteric, idiosyncratic calculation of work rate and I'm not surprised Hass might have gotten it. Broncs did way more work in defence than we did. Hass made 59 tackles and 141m - let him have it and we'll just laugh at the score board.

We played great, but let's also understand the Broncos were dreadful. Having said that, if we turn up again next week it could be a turning point for the year.

Love reading the live game thread after a win!!
Great being at Leichhardt tonight - awesome victory and most complete performance I can remember for a long time. Packer was brilliant especially first 25 minutes. So was Aloiai.
I haven’t heard fox or 9 commentary but I will add that in the 30 minutes from Leichhardt to home after the game 2GB did not say one positive thing about the Tigers. Not one. Best part of tonight - zero points against. Also, amazing what happens when you cut out the unforced errors.
So now pleeeaassee Tigers: follow this up with another clinical performance next week.

Channel nine were no better. All about how had the broncos were. It should have been a celebration of the tigers keeping a team to zero for the first time since 2012 while scoring 48. Our forwards monstered them and they give the MAN of the match to Payne hass, that says it all.

Yup take nothing away, but the Broncos were actually garbage. Boyd looks like he couldn't care any less out there, Milford (who looked in so much pain in post match interview) and Croft are turnstiles. It really was under 8s stuff from them.

Also can't remember the last time the bounce of the ball just went our way, every time. Loved it.

On a side note, hope the Oates injury isn't the end of his career, so unfortunate.

It was pretty funny, he didn't know what to call him. He was uncomfortable calling him "Walters" and he obviously didn't think it was professional to call him "Billy". Sounded like he wanted to talk him up when he did something good but not too much.

I'm happy for both of them, special times.
