Sutton just said get ready for a field goal he more a cheat than gomersall was

Can you give me the time stamp please

When we got a penalty for the short kick off that didn’t go the 10 , we kick for touch as he’s getting Brisbane back on the mark he clearly says it

7:30 to go. My God how bad is that? Is that the 1st win we've had with Sutton

Miracles do happen but it was looking dodgy for a while

A win is so much needed for a bit of cheer amongst the team and supporters. Maguire will be happy.

Some players care certainly showing their promise and worth others not so much.

Defense remains a problem and as somebody said back there in the thread defending the error is just not happening. It seems to be a foreign language to the lads.

Anyhow if WT can manage to out score and attack the upcoming opposition next few matches, we will feel better for it in not relying on defending which is our weakness.

Pauga looks promising. Stefano is a beast, Luciano was excellent, Doueihi should never be moved from 6 and Laurie continuing to improve and play well.

Pauga has talent, and some go in him…. Kept Staggs quiet on Debut which in itself is no mean feat!

Has plenty to work on defensively - he competed though which was the main thing.

Yes. I thought he was terrible in defence. He just missed tackle after tackle. I am willing to put it down to the step up and minimal game time over the last month.

Riki is a weapon hole runner though. His defence and discipline are the reasons he is playing off the bench . He’s almost as dynamic with his ball running as Fifita . His 1 per centres like play the ball , defence etc is where he’s letting himself down .
My point is there’s not many right side backrowers who pose as much threat as him. They’re all on the left .

40 missed tackles is still very concerning but the 2nd half shows the boys can attack

The last month of football could possibly the worst draw a team could get next week against Manly will mean a lot.

Would of love to see him get in the clear but sure looks the goods and he can only get better with games under his belt

There is justice, they shall rub the commentator's noses

Yep not one of the so called “experts” gave us a chance, even during the game the commentators were talking us down, no one loves us and we need to build on that?

Both ch9 so called experts and the experts on the fox
Desk all backed the horses hahahaha losers the lot of them

That doesn’t explain missing 2 simple one on ones in the last 5 mins

That was a fantastic second half. I love the enthusiasm the new boys brought to the squad. Keep this effort up and next week, who knows? Having a quiet celebratory beer in the meantime.
Me too mate, it’s hard work watching them. A beer is definitely earned after that one.

We need to get on run of wins and that will change the commentators.

I literally get heart palpitations from this team. At halftime i checked my heartrate and it was at 107 at fulltime it had gone back down to 86. Proof that following the WT could really give you a heart attack

Overall I thought our second half performance was solid and we got better as the game went on, showing that confidence is key.
Our D was poor for the most part, and why the hell we have NO line speed and why we back off the way we do on our edges, is bewildering to say the least!! D is an effort, attitude and confidence thing - and by far our biggest issue.

As for our Attack - I really believe we can improve this simply by backing up the ball carrier, maybe a few more offloads and players in motion. We are not too far off in A although against a team that has linespeed and stops our go forward we may still struggle.

As for today - thought Tamou had one of his better games for us, with Uto and Mikaele both looking more likely to get across the ad line and get us onto the front foot. Luc was solid today in A, but still slow in D and Garner was the opposite. Tuki had some good and bad in him. Liddle was OK, tackled well but we need more from our d/h if we are to compete with top 8 teams.
Laurie was much more involved in the game today and subsequently played well. AD ran a lot straighter which gave better room and options to ball play. Ken had a far stronger second half and I hope we see more of that from him. Pauga looks like he could have some upside, just needs to focus on his D. More effort from Noffa today and TT was also better than his past games. Brooks was solid, distributed well, kicked well for the most part (although I would like to see some more variation in his kicking game) and Defended very well as usual - good to see him doing the talking in the huddles.

Will need to step up again to have any chance next week against a better Manly side.
