I only realised tonight how big of a boy Doueihi is. He’s another guy getting better each week.

I’m six foot three and when I met him he was taller than me. He’s bulked up quite a bit too, he’ll get faster in time but he’s not slow. Can bust a tackle and hasn’t dropped a ball in about a month

Madge pretty happy with the 80 minute effort tonight. Didn't talk anyone up in particular, keeping things grounded. Focused on the team effort for next week now. Joey L been crook all week, did well to play. Said everyone pulled up ok so hopefully Mikaele is good to go.

Few. No injury for Talau. Relief for Mikaele too

I think Madge gave Talau a rest to try a new combo on the left in case a back goes down injured in a future match. Mbye went to fullback with AD on the wing and MCK at centre. Either that or he was resting Talau early given his injury the previous week.

Finally a game we should win we do, but how bloody good is Harry got to do something to keep this kid. Yes he’s under contract but so is momo they could be in his ear too. Hope Doueihi is ok thought he had a good game out of pos for the try but every week he’s getting better. Huth played well solid decent link up McIntyre the boy has game I thought he was a plodder but he’s surprised me. The whole pack whacked the dogs and on paper their pack is ok. Happy with the win I don’t see Benji getting a run anytime soon we look better with grub in the team more balanced.

great win by the boys the only problem is i think we got the slowest fullback AD and slowest winger TT in the comp im just worried about talau under the high ball

Correction

We have the safest fullback in the comp with the best pair of hands

And as for talau , he also Is quite safe

And can back himself in the corner and go aerial......

Kinda feel for the Bulldogs. They are a really hardworking side and they really put in for each other they just lack the execution. Their forwards are a hard nosed bunch. They could be a much better side if they improved their halves.

Talau has been pretty reasonable under the high ball.

Even if we had reservations about him under the high ball he's no different then to the bloke he replaced, except he can find the stripe.

Douehi is super safe at the back but he’s also slow wait till we play the better sides and they catch him out and as for talau on the wing we will see how he goes this week I think the panthers will bomb him all night I don’t thing he can catch

Doueihi will be one to watch against Penrith for mine. Cleary has a very good kicking game so it'll be interesting to see how much AD has really improved his positioning.

In the trial against Penrith Cleary went for 40/20’s all night and Doueihi handled it well. Should be even better now after weeks of playing there. Forwards gotta put pressure on him as well

He has improved don't get me wrong. We gave the Dogs little to work with last night and their halves are not the quality of Penrith's. It will be a bigger test for him.

IMHO, Eisenhuth played the last games well, very good if defence and solid in attack. Clark also had a solid game.
Of the new comers, McIntyre looks like he belong there, impressed much more than Sayforth.

Don't disagree with any of that.

Clark does the same job as Seyfarth, just for more minutes. Sam has impressed me in a big way. Would love to see him cut a few Panthers in half next week.

Enjoying a coffee and my first day of 2 weeks leave. Even sweeter after a great win. Still too many unforced errors but we are moving in the right direction. Celebrated long and hard with my brother last night - wish I could remember the game😜

They need a Madge with the forwards they have and recruit a spine. As for feeling sorry for them...never after Bah Lamb took Elery out in Grand final

I was too young for that, and my mother is a Berries fan so I've always had a somewhat soft spot for them.
