No line speed... Brooks went missing again...

Honestly not a day to bash Brooksy today. He’s always in the frame and doing something, needs some of the guys hiding out there to make an impact.

Our attack was disgusting today ..as it has been every week

So its not Brooks fault ..who then ??

He set up 3 tries mate. Did his job. What’s Garner doing prancing around for 80 mins..

Two of his set ups were simple draw and pass.... I would hope he could do that. Did well to back up but that's not exactly the main thing you want your half doing

His kick to set up a try was very good, unfortunately every other time he tried it he kicked it 10 metres too shallow. He wasn't organising anything at all and 90% of his kicking was bad.


Tigers fans : Brooks is rubbish! He only got 3 try assists in 2020!

Also Tigers fans: Sure Brooks got 3 try assists in the one game, but they dont count.

You don’t need to Captains Challenge a try. Bunker always reviews. Bunker gave benefit of doubt to refs call, I assume.

Anyway, we had already used up our CC on the Dylan Brown not played at call

we were our own worst enemies in defence today and on the end of some tough calls. not our day but to go close to a top 4 team with a side that is still gelling gives me confidence we'll be in the 8 by the end of the year. hopefully a confidence builder next week and we sort out our edges, I think we'll be ok.

They were saying out right side got murdered this weekend cooper was saying looks like Madge has set structure in defence but the players aren’t coping to play outside those structures when their under pressure and required to play unstructured at those times could be their afraid of the coach or it’s just crap players interesting point tho.

3 try assists , a solid kicking game . He tried to get the ball to the edges heaps , with early ball to AD.
The team moved around fairly well , and we had a thousand so close but so far moments close to the line . Honestly against lesser opposition they’re tries every time .
But against the best teams , they scramble so well , which for me , is Gutho really . He just saves tries all the time . I hate the eels , and he irritates me , but he can save a try .

Seriously , you need to take your the glasses off .
How many half chances did he create down the short side for bad hands , and a lack of crispness leadin to someone die with the ball , or an error .

If Madge says that the game plan was follows better in the second half than , I can guess the game plan was to get the ball to the edges , early .
But once you pass the ball , you can’t catch it , or then pass it for another bloke , all you can do is support . Which by the way his support lead to 2 tries .

The first 20 mins . He was giving early ball to Laurie and AD for bad decisions to be made . That reads like a game plan to me .
And due to the success we had , when the ball went to hand , was the right plan . The issue is a lack of continuity . You want us to win , let them gel together . Stop crying to stop everyone because ... reasons .

Well it’s a definition isn’t it
He gave final pass to Stefano and to Liddle and kicked for Laurie (but to me LL’s touch goes down as the assist)
Is a catch and pass a try assist?
For stefano try it was actually Mbyes pick up and for liddle it was LL’s break and offload. So........
I’ve always found the definition of a try assist a little iffy.....
