When we flogged Brisbane last year... all it took was us beating the wooden spooner by 42 for him to look good

It certainly wasn't one of his best games, but I thought there was a lot of effort in his game. Not sure he was the worst on the ground though.
I thought that Walters was in ineffective in defence and attack.

Bloody hell that was just garbage, majority of the team can hang their heads in shame Seyfarth was the only one putting in. The ref he was atrocious should have reffed the game in an Eels jersey. Ken is a walk up start next week with his hattrick providing he's over his heartbreak by then.
Walters was just about worst on ground people have said hes been horrible in reggies i can see why.

Not at all. There's a big difference between dropping your head and mentally submitting, versus playing against a huge possession drought and suffering fatigue.

Out blokes didn't give up, they were out on their feet.

he topped the tackle count and ppl want to zero in on 2 mistakes?

he missed 7 tackles.. Your hooker shouldn't miss that many also stuffed up 2 play balls n threw a silly pass. He had a shocker of a game

We weren’t just beaten, we were beaten up. We need to organise or recruit a couple of key players.

Someone to put speed into our defensive line.

We had to do a million more tackles in the the first half thanks to some horrendous referring and it took s its toll. If we were given a go by the pea blower we might have got close. The ref has zero feel for a game and that’s now two weeks in a row.
The six again lottery must be without doubt the biggest negative in the game. The Storm game is going to be harder, must maybe we might get a ref who gives both teams ago

We were given a good run by the ref when the forwards were at first getting the eels on their backs, limiting offloads and matching them in the contest. As soon as we started to get out enthused instead of hitting harder and faster, we waited longer, hit with less force and held down longer.
That is an issue with our whole team in their ability to read and control a ruck, when to push and when to just do their bloody job and get to their feet and get into position at Marker. It has very little to do with the refereeing. I did at first feel we were hard done by but the lack of leverage that the ref gave us on the ruck and the time he pushed for each tackle, the exact same time and leverage was given to Parramatta. All in all the way it was reffed was fair, but that speed of game just doesn’t suit us.
