Re-watching the match and Liddle just scored his end to end try.

Was thinking of the re-signing promotional stuff with his knee strapping prominent and just how good it was to again see him back to close to top fitness despite still carrying a slight limp and putting an almost flawless full 80 minutes together.

I’m re watching on NRL.com (free) actually found Gus & Freddy very entertaining, particularly in the second half when they were crediting the tigers and loving the fans at the game.

Freddie is a imbo.... He gave us no credit at all.until its was clear we were home... Gus was behind us all night

Seyfarth was again one of our best forwards, the WT made the right decision when they vslued him higher than Eisenhuth, McIntyre, and even Aloiai!

agree, im amazed how much he has progressed. He also offers a point of difference as a link man which none of our other forwards do particularly well.
Eisenhuth has always been a plodder. He does his job in making his metres and tackles but just lacks potency when doing either. Aloiai good but not worth his asking price and i still think there is plenty of potential in McIntyre and disappointed we lost him but if the choice was he or Seyfarth im happy with the option the club took.

I was a bit concerned when the club got rid of all their workhorses, like ET, Eiso and McIntyre. Seyfarth is an upgraded version of these blokes - looking good

Refereeing aside, leadership. Anyone wanna step up? Anyone? Who is the voice controlling this team? It is embarrassing.

I take it you are watching on TV? At the game it was actually pretty inspiring. Tamou was huge in his time on the field, baiting his ex team mates, pumping up his current team mates. Douiehi also pumping them up actively (loved to see genuine love from AD for this club and the fans), also Brooks. THere was a lot of actual leadership out there last night.

Honestly cant believe all the ref hate (might be normal but im not normally in the live game chat).
He has made two bad calls (+ a 3rd one against Penrith also reviewed) in my opinion (one of which he would have been uncited and have to rely on the touchie which we got back on review) the other the alleged crusher tackle.
The first Nofo high tackle was from the bunker not the ref.
How about more chat about finally showing up in Defence not just good reads but actually whacking as well and looking fast and dangerous whenever we got the ball.

How about more chat on "why isn't the Ref picking up on the Riff indiscretions"

because for the most part he did and what he missed, well i dont expect perfection

Mate, he was far from "Perfection" - he was absolutely pathetic and should be dropped to reserve grade.

Mbye (contrary conduct) and Roberts (melee) fined. Free to play next week.

Surprised Garner didn't get pinged for his crusher but good news. Mbye got done for stepping on crichtons legs lol

So he should have - Did it on purpose as well, that stuff is not on.

Only a fine so not too bad, Mbye is a bit of a hot head actually. Was having a good crack at Edwards in that tussle too, obviously he doesn't like Ivan/Penrith

Edwards at least twice pulled Noffo out of the play and no penalty - think Moses was involved in a push and shove with him for that as well

Thanks for the feedback from the ground. Glad to hear it. Yeah I watched on TV, kind of in disbelief at how we kept shooting ourselves in the foot. It was incredible how many times we gave the ball away.

We'll be a more confident team for having survived that.

Did anyone notice that for the Cleary presser after the game, they had a Penrith backdrop covered in Penrith sponsors? I thought the local team always had the backdrop?

I was thinking the same thing, but its the 1st opposition presser I've watched this year.

Typical Penrith smugness. Also loved that Madge slipped "ebbed and flowed" into the presser. No chance that he doesnt read here.

If that's the case I expect my call up as an assistant coach soon.

In (my) reality, this game has illustrated Ivan’s coaching ability. They should have marked up. Instead he selected some under done kids, his sons best mate in a key position and really hasn’t prepared them at all. For what we all knew was a massive game for us as a club.

Their backs had us on toast (on paper) their bench was just plain dumb when you saw ours. They put too much hope on a couple of forwards.

We *should* get pumped in round 24, but this win really demonstrated that the big chin can’t coach. He’s just got a great team.

Bellamy must be licking his lips.

And you know what. IDK about round 24. That win was beautiful
