I thought our middle forwards competed well for most of the game. Defensive issues mostly came on the edges and discipline let us down a lot.

Our forwards were garbage in attack. Not one of them ran onto the ball. The only one that tried hard was Luciano. Garner cost us a try and was laughing with Wighton when he gave that stupid penalty. Packer is a waste of space. Liddell is too slow in passing the ball. Really it was amateur hour. At what point will it change. I keep hoping but new year same crap

This type of reaction by Garner is what has been the issue with the team for years ...Garner needs the punt straight away to send the message that things have changed and this will no further be tolerated!

Were so light in the 2nd row though who replaces him? Tuilagi? Seyfarth?

Seyfarth went well in the scoobies but on report twice.

terrible second half. doueihi in for mbye only change to make. we've won every round 1 past 6 odd years, this one we lose. not much to make of it tbh, looked v rusty. brooks needs to cut out the errors though i liked him playing both sides of the ruck. Laurie and Luciano look awesome - easily our best today. Garner doesn't look up to it but no one else really to put in there - was always our biggest weakness.

Mbye did nothing wrong and in fact, the only dangerous attacking kicks were his or Laurie's. Brooks should never play first grade again. Twal would be better at half. Liddle is copping it in here for no reason other than Brooks could not capitalise on any go forward we had. He is the worst half in the NRL. Show me a worse one.

What about trying Brooks and Laurie as halves? Doehi to the centre replacing JMJ who replaces Kepoa on the wing? Need a competent fullback very quickly. All he needs to do is catch the ball and run it back.

I thought laurie did well today was pretty safe in the back and was trying to be involved in everything?

I whole heartily agree. It's just that the team is lacking penetration in the halves and Laurie at five eight would would certainly provide this. needed.

Moses has been put in a key position, and as usual been lacking, this has been happening for the last 2 yrs. This is the coaches fault. He has the talent in the squad now thanks to Hartigan, but he can't see the forest from the trees. I worry if he can make some hard decisions.

He's played every position in the backline but his best position is 6 and hope that he can have a decent shot at it - either here or elsewhere. He's a "safe" player but in order to get more in attack from him, he needs consistency

Mbye did heaps wrong, killed the attack. Poor ball to JTJ. Kicked on the 2nd and kicked when none of the outside backs were aware. You’ll notice the difference with AD at 5/8 next week.
