Agree - liddle definitely not the issue. He’s been pretty solid over the last few weeks and has provided at least a bit of spark at times when there is literally nothing coming from anywhere else. Also tries his best and there are no other options at dummy half..

Agreed, and im constantly defending Brooks but to me this was his error. He would have been first receiver and as such should have demanded Blore get in there, if not rush into there himself.

I agree to an extent, but a first grade footballer shouldn't need to be told the obvious. It was a tight camera angle so not sure if anyone else was close but that should NEVER happen in a game.

Exactly, it’s what you do when you are hurting because something you love is not working properly .. our football team that some of us have in our blood , since were kids being excited about Larry Corowa getting the ball and not really understanding why we are so excited, is broken and the person that is supposed to fix it isnt fixing it properly ! Mbye is the worst player in the NRL.

Mbye's whole Tigers career has been pretty bad, but i thought he was fine tonight. What did he really do wrong? One horrible pass early in the game and a missed tackle that he was near no chance of making is about all i can think of. Not sure why he is copping all the hate at the moment.

I used to defend him, until the last couple of months when he completely stopped trying. He's now basically become a lazy bludging tanker.

Well I watched it. It was painful at half time.
And I had the usual feeling that if we don’t score first we are going to get done.
Having said that I must say that everything that could go wrong against us during that first 25 minutes of second half DID.
It’s like we had a big black monkey on our back.
It’s just not our year boys and girls.
And I’m afraid the press, the players have just pushed good old Madge over the edge of that hill.

I post very rarely but read thus forum often and really question the footy IQ of a fair percentage of posters. And most obviously have never played this game at any great level. Under 15 Bs doesn’t count. All can criticise the current but not many have the answers to what needs to happen. Really if you have all the answer go tell someone who can enable it. But as Jack Gibson said “ if you listen to the crowd - you may as well sit with them”

I can recall heighington not falling on a ball from scrum feed against the rorters that put us out of possible grand final spot once lol

Mbye's a better defender ......we play far better percentage footy with him at 6 ......

This game would have been won with smart heads up footy ...if people can't see now that Douehi and Brooks together is an absolute train wreck ...they never will

Mbye and MCK should never play first grade again. Hopefully we can get rid of one or both of them before the deadline tomorrow.

The bench rotation was terrible. We had players out on their feet.

No direction, no confidence, no effort.

Try untouched from a short drop out, dummy half MIA and 2 40m field goal efforts from players that cannot kick field goals.

You must be trolling. MCKs defence was good, 13 tackles no misses, but he can't catch, run or pass, he killed several of the Tigers attacking opportunities. His last game against Manly he scored 4 tries for them.

So who’s your bench cover for Liddle? Don’t tell me, the failure that has been Simpkin, right? Liddle did enough in his position to win a game, there were failures at 5/8 and right edge that cost us points. Why aren’t you asking questions about those?

As far as I'm aware we've never exchanged views so why would you think I "live in a different reality" or that I wasn't open to hearing an alternate view. There was a lot to argue about I would have thought.
