The single failure was on Blore for that, but on the whole the coach for not having Mbye there in attack when his dummy half had been successfully targeted by the opposition all match.

Blore should have been more aware, 100%.

However, Maumalo was also down injured and Liddle needs to own the ruck if wants a long FG career.

If Jacob hadn't thrown the previous pass from dummy half on the other side of the field I may agree, but he was never getting there to deliver the next.

Agreed, and im constantly defending Brooks but to me this was his error. He would have been first receiver and as such should have demanded Blore get in there, if not rush into there himself.

Worse thing about that game was that it's a preview of things to come if we don't buy some marquee talent or solid talent, change our defensive structures and playing style. We also need great leaders and anyone who thinks solely relying on our juniors to develop, glimpsed what our future looks like. Directionless and dire which will likely embarrass our junior talent enough to leave.

Agree - liddle definitely not the issue. He’s been pretty solid over the last few weeks and has provided at least a bit of spark at times when there is literally nothing coming from anywhere else. Also tries his best and there are no other options at dummy half..

Mbye's whole Tigers career has been pretty bad, but i thought he was fine tonight. What did he really do wrong? One horrible pass early in the game and a missed tackle that he was near no chance of making is about all i can think of. Not sure why he is copping all the hate at the moment.
