Thanks for all the comments folks. Haven’t had a chance to watch the game & purposely avoided all updates so I could read the game in full here.

What a cracking effort from our blokes. Seems like Brooks, Rowdy & Aloiai had blinders!

I thought that when Melbourne went for that penalty goal about 20 mins before full time that they were making a mistake - should have went for a try, six points was not enough. Bought my mate beer when was over.

That's the beauty of being a solid defensive team, you force teams to take every point they can get, in years past no doubt the Storm take a crack at us but after their rd 1 experience they knew that 2 points might be the safer option.

Brooks was super , took control today when it counted easily my MOTM

Yeah not to bad from Brooks the happy tiger 13th ranked halfback in the entire NRL…

Apart from the damn fine win again yesterday . . . . I heard a very weird thing from the refs during the game.
Nelson A Solomona just got tackled, and the ref told him to play it with his foot. He did, and the ref said something like " well done Nelson, that was good"
Coupled with the usual Melbourne bias, I found this both curious and pathetic.
But Melbourne do have the right to whinge about their remarkably tough draw. They have had to play us twice in the first month.

Tough luck for JAC , the ball bounced back towards his legs and he had to play at it , he just panicked after that

I ended having to go out about 10 minutes into the second half. Listened to it on the radio and watched the second half again when I got home. Christ what an effort to claw the deficit back and slot the field goal.

Smith is the backbone of that team, but there is no doubt that he is shouldering much more responsibility now in Cronk's absence.

They were again very unpolished yesterday. Spilled balls, passes that would ordinarily stick for them not coming off, we really had them in all sorts.
