That was another rinse and repeat press conference. To be fair I’m not sure Madge and his coaching staff have answers for what the players that put on our jersey have served up to us.

Brooks should give himself a pep talk like he did when he went into the panthers change rooms.

In all honesty Geo do you really think that’s enough?….

Luke’s been at this club for what 150 odd games now and still doesn’t have a voice on the field, he floats in and out of games with his attack and doesn’t direct the team around the field enough which should be his bread and butter.

Are you fine with the couple of good games a year he gives us for a player of his experience in such a key position? can you really see his game advancing on what he has shown to date.

Just watched the Madge Presser - his body language was enormous - finger scratching both sides of his neck - trying to loosen The Noose?

1 We don't play next week.

2 It was 40 nil at half time and we got beat by 50

3 Playing Souffs next up what a team to bounce back against how lucky are WT'S that the game is apparently a sell out.

We play south’s next week.

Well what do you say about what we just witnessed? I am trying hard to actually come up with something, but honestly I have nothing. I can imagine why Madge had nothing to say as well.

Obviously there was something wrong with the build up to this game when your team comes on to the field with no desire or intent - Madge and the coaching team have to take responsibility for preparation. But the inexcusable lack of effort at this level is squarely on each individual player.

Sure there are many problems at the Tigers, but can I just ask how our defensive coaches can not possibly see that having zero line speed and actually backpeddling against any attack is simply suicide.

The only guys that looked at all like they were at least trying were Brooks, Garner, Twal and Uto. The rest should be ashamed of themselves.

A friend just texted me to say he'd heard they had 2 days in Noosa before the game..... he suggested 2 days in Long Bay as that effort was just criminal!
