Geez, we've had our first really poor game of the season and it's already back to the old ways. The blame game has reignited. All the poor parts of the game can be easily fixed, completion rate, kicking and fifth tackle options.
Let's knuckle down and get ready for yet another short turn around for the Thursday game against the Cows

Spot on **NICHOLAS** great insight.

Refs didn't help

Paul Kent made a comment that many scoffed at a few weeks ago

How will the Tigers cope with injuries and mental battle

We are struggling physically and mentally now , we are trying to look to pretty instead of knuckling down and trying to grind out wins , lots of really bad decisions defensively tonight

Mental fatigue as much as physical fatigue causes that , we need a bye

Benji's days in first grade football are over. New blood Tyson Gamble has to replace him.

The sad thing is that West are three CAP players short. Why are Pascoe and Cleary twiddling their thumbs about filling in these spaces with very much needed quality BEFORE the June 30 deadline? If ever this team needs to be resucitated with these new players to save it from being walloped every week by other teams. These new players now Not next season. Mr. Pascoe and Cleary stop the Nero playing the violin bit while Tigers fade away.

Okay Ivan time to make some serious changes:
Drop - Marshall, Rochow, Godinet, nofoluma
MCK to replace Rochow
Reynolds/Gamble to replace Marshall
MM or Liddle to replace Godinet.
Move Thompson to wing replacing nofo
Promote Lolohea to FB…

Promote Lolo to fullback and Thompson to wing…..on what possible grounds? Thompson has been one of our best all year and Tui has been rubbish.

The only fools are the ones stood up for Marshall last week.

Does that include Cleary? He’s the one persisting with him.

It's a stretch to say he stood up for him. More like gave him one last chance.

If he doesn't pull him into line this week he will lose a lot of fans

IC has plan, it was stated our early form appeared much earlier than even he thought. We’re missing some key personnel and 9 rounds in it is our first really bad game and in reality despite never getting the rub of the green and being down to 12 twice, it only got away close to the end.
Every team puts in a shocker, we can bounce back once we have a full lineup - unfortunately everybody got carried away with the first 5 weeks and expected us to be GF bound, never likely in 2018.
We will build and let’s be honest, this game being the exception, we are in every game this year unlike the last few years.
Time to be a tad more realistic - everyone believed the hype; fans, media and BM especially

X2.At the start of the year i expected between 7th to 10th and still do.We were poor tonight and had no luck with the officials, you cant win games with 40% possession

No easy games in the NRL , Cows next week , doesn't end

We have managed to cause some heartaches for a few sides though , Pearce at Newcastle ,Johnson tonight

Unfortunately that only helps out the teams they play the following week

The fact is that we just dont have the cattle…cleary had the money and opportunity to give us a some quality players and he failed....this all falls back on to cleary

You have no idea.

Who could he have bought and didn't?
Remember they have to want to come here - you can't drag them.

Really? Benji is the one taking over mate not Brooks… go watch the game again, geez. The forwards have not laid the foundation either, go figure.

Its supposed to be Luke's team and he has not stepped up today … he should have taken charge of the 5th tackle options.

You haven't got a clue… We've been smashed in the forwards and played 20 minutes with 12.. 66%completions and you want the halfback to step up?

"You want the halfback to step up?" … the answer is yes I do have a clue. When in attack on the try line I expect Brooks to at least get a repeat set. We did not have one today and I put that on Brooks.

Is all this undermining of Brooks because you want Gamble promoted again.

Not undermining Brooks at all. The issue is that he needs to take control of the 5th tackle options whilst in attack and better still convert them in repeat sets. He did so against Manly but recently he has been missing in action in that regard.

Time for Cleary to do his job and do what he should have done last week. Weild the axe. Rochow, Godinet and Noffa all need to go. I’d say Marshall to but there aren’t a lot of quality replacements waiting in the wings. Do the right thing Ivan. Accountability, don’t talk it, walk it.

Exactly ^^^^

Even Godinet's intercept was half arsed

I agree, but Benji has to be the first one dropped, does not matter who goes in, they cant be as bad as Benji has been the last month.
And all the others you mentioned should be right behind Benji heading to ISP
