**Live game thread** Tigers vs dogs

I used the NRL ladder predictor and stayed as unbiased as possible. Gave us a loss to the Eagles (doubt we could beat them) and kept all my predictions rational. We can still make the 8 with one more loss if results go our way. If we win all our games, mathematically we are in it. I'm one of those hopeful one. It usually bites me in the behind, but I'll stay hopeful.

Usually?? How about ‘always’

@Tiger_Steve Nevermind that. Mathematically we are still possible to make the 8 and that's all I need to get sucked right back in!

@TigersBusDriver Mathematically maybe but after tonight's total lack of performance? No chance, 10th or 11th at best.

@Trevros I think if we have a starting hooker next week rather than a lock you'll see that our attack will be much more fluid. No excuses, though, we really should have had that game wrapped up. And that Penrith game. And that Melbourne game. Ugh

No worries - I’ll buy into that by about Thursday lunchtime I reckon. I posted through the week that historically we never win the games we should and therefore will need luck to go our way with other games. Last week it did. This week it hasn’t. Also with the broncos getting a security escort into the top eight our chance for luck is pretty slim

I have faith in Madge, but considering Farah is retiring I don’t get why Liddle isn’t getting more game time if he will be first hooker next year.
He should be playing much bigger minutes and if not starting, should be on the bench every game.
Farah has been fantastic this year, but denying Liddle more experience seems foolish IMO.

@Tiger_Steve It's a given that the Broncos make the 8, the league can't afford not to have all those bodies at Suncorp. It's all about money, I'd love to go back to the days of the 70s and 80s when it was all about the game but the corporate germs who have taken over the game have made it corrupt - just look at the referring decisions being made.

Being saying this for years mate.

BIG opportunity for Liddle to step up! Does he have 80mins In him NRL level... I’m not sure.

Totally disagree ...the only way we lose tonight is starting with one hooker and losing a back

This is no knock on Robbie , but your more prone to get injured at 36 than 26

Then Mbye with his 2nd touch breaks down after KNOWINGLY is played carrying the injury that causes him to be replaced

Inexcusable calls in my opinion ......if we were the Broncos Roosters etc or a club of similar ilk the coach is wondering what that stabbing pain in his back is .....

@happy_tiger Gee I felt sorry for Momo after that last kick. Hope no one blames the poor kid. He did better then most others out there tonight.

@Tcat
It was a terrible kick for someone who is a professional rugby league player I reckon. I knew he wasn’t going to kick it. His second kick explained my choice

Not sure how what you are saying is in disagreement ... I agree with you

You said you have faith in Maguire ......
