I blame myself. I actually dared to believe we had changed our stripes. I actually believed we would control this game and win well. Injuries don’t cut it - we had 75% possession first half so energy should have been in the tank. We are a garbage club. Always have been apart from a few rounds in 2005. We have allowed the 2nd worst team to beat us twice!
I’m ready to type ‘I’m done’ but I suppose I’ll be back . But every day it’s getting harder. I’m sick of this shit! Every year. Every opportunity. Every challenge.
So now we’ll watch roosters, broncos, storm, rabbits play finals again. Screw that!

Understand your frustration Steve but....

Correction 60% possession in the first half.

You could say we did well to stay in the fight considering we lost our starting prop leading into the game & our hooker & captain 10 mins into the game. Not to mention losing Garner for 10 mins for a tackle he probably couldn’t have pulled out of. Or that we were unlucky Benji’s intercept pass wasn’t a couple of feet higher as it would’ve seen us score in the corner instead. Then there’s Momo’s conversion attempt that hit the post, etc.

There were plenty of moments in the game that didn’t go our way but overall I was really disappointed with our soft defence leading to the Marshall-king & Jackson tries. We should’ve kept them out there especially considering our season was on the line.

I thought we were the better side last night but we still lack that mental toughness to be ruthless when we need to. It’s not impossible to make the 8 now but probably unlikely because of this.

On the bright side, I thought our front row rotation were great & Matterson just massive, definitely Captain material for next year & beyond.

Hopefully that’s not the last of Robbie, he doesn’t deserve to end his career that way. But I am looking forward to seeing what Liddle & potentially Talau can bring to the team over the coming weeks.

@Madge Did I see Chris Lawrence drop a sitter off a pass of Brooks out there tonight? It is a familiar sight but Brooks gets the blame from many for Lawrence's poor handling.

I saw it and still blame Brooks - his pass was too hard for someone running at speed.

Not an excuse - just a fact Paws.

@happy_tiger Gee I felt sorry for Momo after that last kick. Hope no one blames the poor kid. He did better then most others out there tonight.

You and me both but, you only have to read other threads to see many idiots on here do blame him.

It's OK.....On FB the blame has shifted from Momirovski to Garner for not scoring closer to the posts..

If the goal posts were two feet to the left we win .....blame the NRL and ANZ Stadium

Do we bring in Jennings and move Momirovski to the centres or do we just put in Talau in Mbye’s spot?

We obviously bring in Jennings - upgrade him from 'Z' grade to 'Y' grade.

You wouldn't let him anywhere near this team.

More than 2 feet, I just saw the replay. It was like watching Glen McGrath batting.

Losing Aloiai a couple of days before didn't help either.............someone sticking pins in Wests Tigers dolls this week

There was a thread earlier in the week about how we haven't had many injuries this season. And wouldn't you know it, 1 in the lead up and 2 in the game.

Said this to my brother in the pre-game. WHO DID IT?!

Anyone else here Freddy saying during the storm Souths game that he spoke to Robbie's brother and it's not looking good?

Suggestions are Robbie Farah has a crack in his tibia but is refusing to concede defeat in his quest to play again this season. Don’t rule him out. History had shown Farah is one tough hombre - Brent Read

I like Robbie and he's been great, if sometimes divisive, for the club. However, if he has a fracture I hope they don't consider playing him. The last thing we need in a clutch match is what happened last night with Mbye.
