Benji was really bad, made some terrible mistakes, what chance he gets dropped, none I say

Yeah he was poor in some areas, his running and passing was less than average at times but his spiral bombs that terrorised the backs won the ball back two or three times in their 20. I know we butchered one chance but you still have to give credit where it's due.

Looking forward to the day that Brooks and Benji both turn it on.

Benji saved two tries at least in defence , he was OK in attack


He missed 6 tackles, if Brooks missed 6 tackles he would be lambasted, but Teflon Benji is ok.
He also gave souths 2 points with the drop out clock

Benji was a headless chook tonight
Brooks was a duck out of water

Oh spare me, he set up both tries Hobbo... Admittedly he wasn't perfect but he played his part in the win, whether you like it or not.

Admittedly his kick on the last play was awesome !

@851 We virtually always see eye to eye and I maintain that J. Rey can have a hugely positive impact on the team in future but it’s right now when we need to grind out wins that his age and status at the club kinda just gives him the edge.. see who’s named next week

side note...I had to watch the game in the bedroom because the missus wanted to watch something in the loungeroom,so I got my "WESTS TIGERS ONESY ON" and watched it cheerfully...must wear it more often,maybe at Campo one night...

Brooks was better than Marshall , but many of Benji's misses were due to racing up putting pressure on halves

Good win. Not spectacular but good anyway.
If this team clicks into gear this year towards the end of the year .... they may surprise.
Maguire must feel like trying to start flooded engine with this side. But there may be something there.

According to the post match dribble on channel 9 was floating cartilage in the elbow.

Pre-existing injury and should be fine for next week.

Just watching again now with my IQ4 bunker..Marsters was in front of Marshall when he puts the kick up and he is the player who bats it back to Nofoaluma so the call was right..
