alot of people are on madge for the Jennings signing which to me is just silly. We basically picked up the leading try scorer from the year before. Has he lived up to the hype no! but he has the physical characteristics we needed a bit of size and a bit of pace. It turned out to be not so successful but the thought was fine.

Looking at the stats and Marsters really should be dropped. Only 8 hitups for 56 metres, 9 tackles, 5 missed. Awful effort from a lazy and arrogant player. Even Benji ran the ball more, and in comparison to the rest of our back 5 the next fewest hitups was 14 from momo. Marsters and Jennings is a very bad combination. Both could be dropped but a winning side won't change at this late stage. A very weak edge both in attack and defence. Two lazy plodders side by side. Bring Mbye in for Marsters, give him a kick up the bum for the offseason that he needs to put in and deliver if he wants to stay a starting player.

Jennings has no pace and he didnt last year either,the reason he was top try scorer last year was he was the last link in a good backline.Hopefully with a full preseason under Madge he will get fitter and find some

Can forgive him for not scoring tries.

Can forgive him for getting injured.

Cannot forgive him for not rolling up his sleeves and getting in and helping his mates, doing his share of the work load. Should have a look at Nofo and HANG HIS HEAD IN SHAME!

Do not agree that he has a bit of pace - compared to what, a snail.

He was unfit at the start of the year and not much better now.

He was a bad signing, he is a bludger like his brother Michael - hang back and let others do the work. He scored 18 tries last year - 17 were walk forward 2 to 12 metres and put the ball down with no one in front of him.

As an NRL winger he would make a great bricklayer. (not that I have anything against bricklayers).

Perhaps one issue influencing that stat is that whenever Brooks goes left he often (usually) goes short pass Garner. I think Brooks is overdoing it a bit. The point is that the ball rarely gets to Masters in an attacking position. Often when he does carry the ball it is to do the dirty hit ups.

Brooks did pass to Thompson twice on left hand side attacks because Thompson was in position to give him an option. If the centre is too flat, Brooks can't get the ball to him because the 2nd rower in position for the short ball is in the way. They need to sort out their shape to give Brooks more options.

There are a few things Brooks could add to his game to keep the defence guessing. A cut out pass to the centre or winger, a double pump then pass to the person in a hole. He has always relied on getting outside his defender with speed.
