@851 Brooks threw the final pass twice for two tries. When there is nothing to work with in the backline, a lot of pressure falls on the halves.

Moses schooled Brooks again, and hardly anyone on here rates Moses

Moses is a very good player when his team plays well. When they are off the boil he is shocking.

@Cultured_Bogan This wasn't our jungle it was 100% Parra's jungle today. The huge Parra crowd togther with the Slimey players intimidate the referees into reversing so many decisions which favoured Wests Tigers. NRL is getting out of control when players are continuously questioning the referees/linemens decision and continuously getting the decision overturned.

@Cultured_Bogan When Jennings missed a couple of tackles for tries, perhaps those knocking Brooks should have a look at who was there trying to make the cover tackle. He played well today and I thought our halves outplayed the Eels pairing. Pity we don't have any backs.

I would say Corey cost us big tonight he made a few mistakes that caused momentum swings that resulted in tries plus his no try because of his poor positional play to be in front of the kicker.

What annoyed me with Brooks is he kept kicking down the wing of Ferguson the whole day... we didn't put in one grubber that whole game. He has no variation is his kicks and when u kick it down to probably the best winger in the comp at the moment and get no luck, maybe you should try something else. His kicks didn't even go high enough for someone to contest. Both teams had luck down the oppositions RHS. Difference was they kept attacking ours and us not so much. In saying that, we scored the same amout of tries... difference was the goalkicking today and is diabolical.

@Tigerlily Why can't Wests tigers get a half decent fullback that can reliably kick goals. Imagine how the players feel when they bust their gut scoring a try and know there is very, very little chance of it being converted. Wake up Madge! Surely you can find and afford someone before the season's out.

@Madge Our halves created enough chances down both wings. Had a Tuiaki been on the left wing try time multiple times. We just lack strike.

I thought Brooks and Marshall played reasonably well considering the outside backs offered nothing.

He has had way more good games than Brooks

Plain and simple that we don't have the cattle. Marsters would not get a gig on any team in front of us and maybe only Dogs and Titans behind us. The good teams have players at our level (plodders?) but only one or two. Not half a dozen. Matterson aside, we recruit the plodders from the better teams thinking their plodders must be better than our plodders when they have been made look better by the players around them.

Might have something to do with the team around him then eh?

The crowd looked like 70/30 Parra fans.

This has happened quite a bit lately, yeh he is energetic but he is no top 8 fullback

I am probably in the very small minority, but I choose Moses over Brooks every day, and he is nearly a 90% goal kicker
