I know we don’t want to hear it but there’s always next year and I am actually pretty excited to give Madge more time to fix the mess and continue the improvement

Let’s be honest most of us would never have thought we’d be in the mix this year at all...... honestly with the crap inherited, injuries and other roster issues Madge righted the ship and we are heading in the right direction.......

Then again, in recent years WT have had a virtual clean slate contract and cap wise, yet in so many ways we find ourselves exactly where we were with Taylor as coach, ladder and otherwise.

Madge did ok with what he had to work with ! I never thought today’s result would be any different these 2 teams were chalk and cheese. I just hope that a few are moved on either contracted or not as some of the performances today and throughout the season were well below par . Now the main distraction this club has had for years is no longer , that in itself a positive moving forward !

Either way no matter how you look at it this club (taking '05 out of the equation) has been pretty crap. Not expecting finals next year either because of the reduced salary cap and the dead weight of course.

Once Thompson was ruled out in the warm up it was going to be an uphill struggle. I lost a fair amount of confidence in Madge today.

Every team will also have a few players that will get better next year, we're going to need something more than that buddy.

At least with the end of the game and our season, hopefully now there should be some quick news on the future of Reynolds- it was hinted that they were waiting till seasons end to announce something. Hopefully news too over Matulino, Packer, McQueen.

I also think Marsters and Jennings did themselves no favours today.
