**Live game thread* WT vs Eels

Some good signs, at least we are competing. Take out a few (regular) brain explosions, and it could have been a tighter match. Someone in 6 or 7 needs to be in charge, but Brooks has really got no idea, no skills and no concept on how to lead a team. Would like to see how we go without him, tbh.

Wish we had a tall, athletic 2nd rower like lane to pop some offloads for us. We are so 1 dimensional in attack.

Doubtful.

They should be flogging a weak team like us but they can't

Moses generation never wins a comp
This is it for that team . Mahoney generates so much of thier attack from the ruck . No way Hodgson isn’t Matt Ballin 2.0. When the wheels come off the vehicle usually crashes and burns . It’s sudden .
And for me with most players in thier core taking off , it’s all over red rover .
The panthers on the other hand are the nrls version of the patriots . The nrl grand final will be the Penrith panthers invitational for the next 10 years .

Tbh fair few positives. Fonua Pole with one of the best performances I’ve seen from a 19yr old in the front row by anyone other than Haas.

Matamua unlucky to be binned, line ball call I guess. Looks good but still at least an off season or two from being at this level but lots to work with.

Tuopo looks very good. Is centre his favourite position? Potentially him + Naden centre combo this year and next.

Good to see Stefano get back towards his best.

Add papalii and koro and there’s a decent forward pack in the making.

Time for doueihi + Hastings combo to see how it works. Brooks to 14 in place of liddle who is as dumb as brooks without the natural talent. Don’t know what happened to Seyfarth this year - last year he looked like he would make it but has fallen off a cliff this year. Maybe injured? Not sure but Dias is a waste of space on bench imo.

Kids are fantastic, if we’re going to lose then keep giving the kids experience

Future looks bright

Loved it when the kid got sent off he apologised to everyone and took responsibility for it. I like how he was binned in this game and not in a few years time when we’re playing in the finals. He’ll learn.
Completely agree ! If we keep going with these young lads we will be alright it’s time
To just bite the bullet and blood the young guys now, I’m not sure anyone on here will have a problem with that, come next year they will understand the nrl game a bit better and should help us on the field next year.
