He executed a simple two on one twice, not that great mate. All up he was ordinary but as I said he tries his heart out. Overall that wasn’t a bad effort from them but I’m sick of the two fairies in the second row. Get rid of them. Hastings set up a try for Laurie and was otherwise pretty solid I thought.

You've got to learn to watch a game properly if you're going to defend Brooks and bag Garner...

Brooks is terrible too, but AD did absolutely nothing.

AD is a lock IMHO . He’s not dynamic enough for a centre . See Brent Naden and Waga Blake for reference .
And he’s not fast enough for 6 . Caveat to that though is if we let Madden take the 7 . Hastings amd AD is not a first grade halves pairing .
I straight up don’t rate Hastings as a 7 . He might be better at 6 .
For me if Brooks is off to Newcastle , I’d go Madden at 7 , AD/ Hastings 13 and 6. And if Hastings decides he wants to go , I’m ok with that .
But really AD is a lock IMO. He gets in between defenders , finds his front , has a strong play the ball , stands in the tackle . He can also be used at 6 in games depending on the play .
Which is to say we need a more dynamic 6 . The new broncos 6 , Keary , Luai , Cody Walker , Dylan Brown , they’re all lightning in a bottle .

It might work seeing our forwards actually do a good job today but I don't see it as a long term option. I think Matamua should be our longer term lock forward.
