Mahe man of the Match … he is a beast

Brooks got it.

So he should have. Stellar in defence and never stopped trying in attack. The team let him down tonight, especially the forwards.

Brooks probably was involved more so maybe deserved it but that strong chap with the funny haircut was great at cutting up Dog defence - always a goer. I prefer him to Woods.

We are not a finals football team. Its a waste to make the 8.

:roll

It’s NEvER waste to make the 8.
The experience is invaluable.

That’s right. Realistically we were never going to win the comp this year but it’s been so long since we’ve tasted finals footy.
For me it’s better following a team that competes every week where everyone puts in than what we’ve had last few seasons.
We now have a good foundation to build on. Even if we don’t make the finals this year I think we’re heading in the right direction

Top 8 would be a massive step in the right direction

Sure as hell beats the positions we've been in from 2011 onwards

Again you don't need to draw a picture , take the two points and move onto the Roosters game , winning ugly just makes it sweeter :sign:

Hope we play even uglier v the Rorters and smack their behinds as well :righton:

8 points in front of them.

Had we not been robbed against the Broncos and not fluffed the Knights and Parra games we'd be on top of the table

And if we lost against Melbourne twice and Easts we'd be on 8 comp points and six points outside the 8…

Touche'

Sorry mate wasn't trying to come across as a twat, the point was that we've been in many close ones this year. Many probably thought there were games we had no right winning and we lost games we had no right to lose, but we did.

It further highlights how we've been in just about every game this year.

Just acknowledging your good point mate. No offense taken here. Play on

So Klemmers allowed to stand in front of the kicker waving a towel?

What a joke

This has been going on for awhile now, this moving around in the goal mouth when a player is having a kick.

Klemmer took this to a whole new level with waving that red towel as Masters was moving in to take the kick.

That is deliberate foul play and needs to be stamped out.

He should have been sin binned.

There is definitely improvement but realistically if they stumble into the finals and I say that with not that much confidence they will be making up the numbers ..just do not have the cattle plain and simple

What is wrong with making up the numbers.

Better than finishing out of the eight - isn't it?????

Golly gosh now we have peeps complaining if we make the 8…

very funny..

Semis are a whole new ball game…. While we wouldn't get far imo playing like we did yesterday (a better team would spank us).... Yesterday wasn't a semi either.
We have the ability to frustrate good teams along with our own fans... Who knows what could happen

Haha no worries mate.

I've found that some don't know when to appropriately apply use of the word.

All good mate. I've written a few posts to that effect before - we haven't been dominant in any match apart from the 1st Parra game and the Manly game. We could easily be 2 wins from 12.
