Explain how Klemmer’s late shoulder charge isn’t a penalty and Morris running into Nofo is ???????Mbye went off for a HIA surely the bunker should be looking at it to see how he got hit in the head

THIS - another example of the pathetic level of refereeing

HOWEVER

Refs didn’t lose us the game - we stunk it up big time - close to the worse effort all year and that saying something…...

I feel relatively calm as I always knew this was how it was going to end, same as it always does....I’m used to it now after following both tigers teams since 1969

What lost us the game was:

Poor attitude
No offloads
Poor kicking game
Poor kick chase
Silly penalties (ET's pass on the ground must be one of the worst of all time)
Missed tackles
Lack of variety in attack

and what contributed was:

Hopoate kicking the ball ingoal and they get a seven tackle set instead of line dropout
Lewis knocking on from a grubber kick but eventually getting a penalty
Morris running into Noffa for a penalty
Klemmer levelling M'Bye with a shoulder charge and 'play on'
Some other nit-picking penalties against us which don't seem to get awarded to us

I feel a bit for Noffa - played solid in his 100th game and I'm sure he would have loved to lead the song tonight.

We were never going to make up the ground on the top 8.
Whether this week or any of the remaining weeks of season proper.
We just ran out of troops and enthusiasm.

On paper the forward pack just did not do it for me this week.
And as in other games this year that we lost, when our forwards don’t get on top our backline is just not good enough.

Let’s not delusion ourselves here ….. this is just above average side ..... and the engine only sometimes stutters into action.
We have overachieved this year so, even though these games are a dissapointment, I’m also happy with what little success we have had.

Our spine cost us this game Farah, Brooks, Marshall, Mbye all average. We have a real problem with bottom 8 sides.
Must say Matulino tried to get us back in this game with MCK and Marsters but no one else stood out at all. Very bad.

Throw in noffa and I am with you 100%.

Who was that team and what did they do with the tigers from last week?
