Wow can’t believe I travelled from Brisbane for that pathetic excuse of a game.

Well done to you for putting in that time and effort. Hopefully next time they really give you something to cheer about.

I understand the frustration of fans this evening. I have a question though - did anyone really think we had a chance to make the 8 even after the last 2 wins?

I'm an optimist, but after thoses bad losses to Raiders and Titans, that was the season done. Anything left is just pride.

But I get the impression lots of folks think this game was the nail in the coffin, based on how some were saying that the season was on the line.

We started well and finished well with Cleary last year too, time to put together a middle-season for once.

Well… I don’t know what to say .
Refs didn’t help but we were useless ... I was embarrassed by our backline playmakers.
Maybe the talk about his future affected Brooks ... terrible game.

Deep down in my heart I knew we would lose this game. We always do. My hopeful score prediction was WTs 20 Dogs 16.Well I got one right but did not want to be negative. Headline on NRL says it all, Bulldogs tame toothless Tigers!

The team were like myself - falling asleep half way during the game. But from the run on I did not like who the was named captain. Did he act like a capt?

Tigers at time used all they smart attacks but the Bulldogs were up to it. And surely Brooks has to learn to kick at 45 degree angles - they read him like a book. I did not see Benji make one smart move or good run. Farah's kicks were excellent except for one that stopped a little short - but that was only while I was awake. If he kicked on early tackle count it may have been to catch them out of position.

well, glad I missed the game. Not sure how the side couldn't have been up for this game, makes no sense. Beat the top 2 sides in a row then lose to this mob.

I gave us no chance after the gold coast game. I enjoyed beating saints and souths but it was all too little too late. I knew If I allowed myself to become hopeful they would just dump a huge crap on me.

Such a joke of a club we've become.

If be angry as well if we lost a hard fought tussle in which we played well… But we just dropped out daks and bent over.
I mentioned early on in the live game thread they looked asleep.. I was worried after only 10 minutes.
That to me is not giving everything right till full time round 26 which is what I expect

Calling it quits with 6 or 7 weeks to go isn't acceptable regardless of ee can make the 8 or not

Out at the ground I felt we looked flat from the run out onto the ground. As the game went on we just looked worse and worse. The entire crowd was flat even the bulldogs fans were t into it. One of the worst games of footy I’ve every attended. I’ve been to park footy with more intensity and atmosphere.

Yeah it was terribly depressing there…
The gay boys heading to the Celine Dion concert next door looked up for a good night.
Game day experience is absolute garbage nowadays much easier to watch from the comfort of home

Favourite part of the night was post-game interview with Robbie saying we played too “one-out”. Ummmm who’s the one passing it one-out!! Geez. We played flat and boring and the spine (our senior players) were way to quiet and ordinary. I’ll glad Benji and Robbie had their chance to come back but it really is time to move forward. I hope the rest of the year is a farewell tour.

Sick of losing mate, I can't remember what it's like to have a 50% win season.

We are useless, have been for 50 years

You know you're utterly hopeless when the highlight of your life is the 76' Amco Cup win

Arguably the stupidest comment I have read LL

The facts don't support your flimsy contention

Did you sleep through 2005?

One oasis in a perpetual desert of despair? You're easily fulfilled

Oh no, I'm far from being easily fulfilled. 13 years is way too long! Just pointing out that the highlight isn't quite so far back as 1976!

Yep I’m normally a fan but our spine just did not work.
Just like so many in our squad there is no consistency.
And of course our forwards got rolled ….... badly ....... that forward pack last night was just god awful on paper and on the field even worse.

If Brooks had been smarter with his kicking it could have been a completely different result. While I was awake we were threatening their goal line many times but they read Brooks like a book. The Old Man should have kicked grubbers himself - his were much smarter.

Where was the on-field active captain directing players?

Well im a bit off topic but for the first time in years I chose to stay home for a Sydney game.

Why?

I don’t mind fighting Friday traffic, paying for parking, queuing to get out, sitting in a soulless stadium…...

But I’m not doing it for 1 game of footy.

I’ve decided that if there’s not 2 games of rugby league (not touch) I’m no longer going.

Sad really because I’ve been going to games every weekend all my life
