Nofa and Twal won this game for us.
Packer defensively in the second half was hurting blokes it was massive.
We can’t perform across the park for entire games it’s poor. Liddle doesn’t want to tackle 2 tries we’re scored off his reads.

He has a bit of Mitch Moses' misjudgement. Shame because is certainly an active player but hopefully he will come perfect next year.

Even if we fluke making it to the finals, our team will be hammered in the first week, they haven't got the top nrl standard players to make it through…we have said it many times before that we are a team of journeymen, fringe first graders and young up and comers...
Its no good bagging out Cleary,he can only work with what he has got...which at the moment aint a real lot..
But lets all be grateful that the team has done very well this year considering that we were regarded by many as being wooden spooners.

Totally agree, Nofa and Twal were outstanding, and Liddle, we are putting all our eggs in his basket, he needs a hell of lot of tackle practice

From what I heard on the mmm call @ work, twal was massive for us as was nofo. Frustrating that we let them back into the game.

Marshall has to retire …
Enough is enough

I have been saying this since round 9 :bash

Worst on field award ..
He still can’t tackle after all these years …
Rushes out of the line to chase butterflies at least 5 times per game
Garbage ....

He is not up to NRL standard defensively - he does put his body on the line but his read on the play is poor - but this is where the side falls down - he was left with Mbye on his inside on the first misread - where were the big boppers - no where to be seen - he is being isolated in defense - it was a crap read but a bigger forward should of been there to slow the man with the ball.

We need our coaching situation to be resolved …. quickly.
Then back to the drawing board regarding our defence and attack.
We need better size and power on both fronts and this must be addressed in the off season. We have a start of something ..... but we need to build and move forward from this point onwards.
It will bring results if handled correctly.
But boy .... if we don’t whole year of effort will go down the toilet.

I think 851,if Liddle has a good pre season and gets over his sternum injury,he will develope nicely for next season…I also think he does try to hard to impress once he replaces Robbie at times..a small sign of immaturity at his age,but will get much better as he goes along...

The few remaining spots in the squad for 2019 need to be filled with guys who pack a very mean punch. Guys like Taupau or even CHN. We need an X factor like a man dying of thirst in the Mojave needs water.

Well Lawrence was in the vicinity.but yes he was isolated ….. but gee he was up against a halfback.
He just needs to bulk up, maintain speed and agility and work on his tackle technique ...... similar to what Brooks has achieved with (mostly) positive results this year.

I'd prefer Benji (and Robbie) to retire but he's also carrying a chest, calf and (apparently) a new thigh injury. I understand what you're saying but at this stage we don't have a fit/competent 5/8 to slot in.

I’m happy to give Benji one more game !

Hopefully Reynolds will stay fit next year .

Agree. No more plodders!

I think the jury is still out on Liddle. I'm not convinced he can step up, all along ive been concerned he was too "fragile' both in strength, also just being bounced around too much by bigger opponents and tackling problems. I hope I am wrong but I think for insurance I'd like to see WT have a third back up hooker to Farah- just in case.
