Could not agree more. Nikorima is terrible and Boyd looks lost without uncle Wayne.

Nikorima and Bird both got big wraps from the Ch 9 commentary. Buggered if I know why.

I know its a bit of a sin to say this around here but I enjoy watching the Storm play. They are usually well prepared and almost always up for the game. Their culture is awesome as well, making the past 3 GF's is outstanding in any sport.

The funny thing is the commentary was carrying on about how wonderful the 2 passes leading up to that try were. and how amazing Cammy is …when it wouldn’t have had a hope of being scored if Boyd doesn’t fall for a dummy from a big log of a forward.

Yeah he's very uninspiring.

Boyd turns a few more performances like that this year and he might find himself in QCup as well. Falling for that dummy was comical.

Loved Fifita's attempt at stopping Bromwich's try - tackled no one, boy has a lot to learn.

Melbourne will be hard to stop on that performance. Very well prepared again and allowed to dictate the ruck and slow the play the balls with wrestling the main feature. Cam Smith still has it, and is still the unluckiest player in the NRL when it comes to getting tangled up in the play the ball.

i was the first in my league for nearly all of the season… then my luck ran out.. and iw as getting
only getting 2-3 correct each week

It was the usual crap from Melbourne. Can’t keep track of the number of times I heard the ref yelling, “Cameron “ , while he was holding someone down or had a limb pinned and twisted.

Will be keen to see how they are referred away from home. If it is the same interpretation, expect a big year from Melbourne, more inconsistencies from referees and more people switching off the NRL

Very different to a year ago, when some of us, including me, were naive enough to believe the refs were going to get tough

The refs are not the problem. I bag the refs non stop but let’s look at it. Last year they enforced the ruck because of the wrestle. They were then crucified and hung out to dry by Greenberg. Now they let the game flow and teams take advantage of it.
This is the fault of those that introduced and continue to carry out the wrestle. Cameron smith could have been penalised 5 or 6 times for slowing the play the ball last night

Can I be frank (but still be Happy)

Look when you play at home if your defence isn't slowing the play the ball down a bit longer than they would away from home your living in a fools paradise

And when push come to shove I hope we have 15 000 + fans howling the grandstands down if they even remotely think Manly are doing the same

Like it or not you play by the rules the refs are enforcing …if you can bend the refs even 1 % or one call it can be the difference between winning and losing

Make some noise WT's fan help the boys (and refs ) get us home
