a very winnable game despite the lopsided possession stats.
alofi wrongly disallowed a try and satterthwaite could have scored 2 more if the last pass was better.
encouraging they could be close despite dropping the ball so much. potential there but just not enough composure. we really need more size in the forwards though.
We couldn't handle their big man who was easily man of the match. Ran for about 250m and made over 30 tackles. Not bad for a prop, Lisoni i think his name was.
Too many players that look like they're sg ball players, very skinny.
don't know what happened with Gavet, went off after 12 then came on for last 10\. He's far too skinny to play prop. he's a centre if anything. when he fills out he'll be ok, but he desperately needs an extra 10kgs to fill out his frame. when he does he could be a great player.
liolevave had his best game and a good impact in the second half. great to see him make a break and a few offloads

Why Farrell hasn't been given a game at Fullback is beyond me, he is dependable (says so in his profile) in both attack and defense, he missed last year due to a knee reco but played good enough in the trials to get a start. Not just my opinion but it is the opinion of many.

It's not just the fullbacks defence that is ordinary. His positioning is woeful, every time a grubber went through he was too far away to clean it up which usually means try.
I know it's harsh, but if we had a reasonable fullback, we win easily.
