Ponga is a class act and the fact he showed concern rather than blame / carry on like Pearce did shows he is a great person as well as a great player.

I don’t think it was a shoulder charge, but he did hit him in the head so I think it was a fair call, but would not have blown up if it was play on.

@tony-soprano I wouldn't say he got the hook, its just the surplus of forwards we had in that game made it tough for him to get more game time.

I think Clark was bad last time he played too. I think he's an ineffectual tackler and generates really slow play the balls. We seem to get hammered in the forwards when he's on the field, it's absolutely brutal. I'm pleased he didn't get a second spell, and I'm surprised he made it back into the side. Last time against Canberra I was surprised he got so many metres in the stats because I thought he was virtually unplayable watching him go round. Hope we don't see him in 1sts again. Tries hard but we can't have Eisenthuth, Clark and Twal in the same pack.
