I haven't seen kick chasing like that for years.

Our forwards did such a great job rolling forward which allowed the kickers a bit more time and a better position on the field to kick from. Both kickers were able to put a lot more height on their kicks rather than just going for distance. That extra hang time really helped our kick chase.

HA.. M8 we have had bad and controversial calls go against us for the past 5 weeks!!

How about Ponga headlocking Nofo and getting a penalty for that? Bet he was cheering then.

If cheekam is ruled out, do we want taulau or mcqueen?

I love McQueen and all...

But i think taulau deservers a chance

Club update on mck

Wests Tigers forward Michael Chee Kam has today left John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle after being monitored overnight.

Chee Kam was stretchered from the field in the final minutes of his side’s 28-26 win over the Knights with head/neck concerns, and was taken to hospital via ambulance as a precaution for further assessment.

The 27-year-old has been cleared of any serious injury and is in positive spirits.

He will continue to be monitored closely by the club’s medical department as he undergoes the necessary Head Injury Assessment protocols in preparation for his side's Round 20 clash against North Queensland at Leichhardt Oval.

Thank the Lord

Im a big fan of brooks, and proud of the victory they brought us...

But i just want to nickpick 1 thing.....

It was the set just after the ponga incident, where brooks opted to run the ball on the last tackle, in which he got tackled, imo it would of been better for him to put a kick in and try and force a dropout to whitle the clock down

That was my only small issue,,

If he kicked the ball dead it would have been a 7 tackle restart on the 20,he too the safe option and was tackled close to the line and the knights had to bring it about 90 meters in 6 tackles.I thought he made the smart option

If they play him Thursday that’s pretty bad form. It was a horrible knock. He should get a week off to recover at the every least.

@avocadoontoast the club will take the appropriate protocols... if there is any risk in playing him they simply won’t.

Smart play. Why risk a kick returned, broken field play or 7 tackle set . They had to run 95 metres with 12 men to score.

And he got tackled in the corner too which meant we could crowd their hit ups. Good work Brooksy!

Thank you to everyone for the messages mad love for you guys! S/O to Ponga for checking up on me straight after. It’s a contact sport and sometimes that’s what happens. Pretty scary but thank God no serious injury. ✌🏽🧡

Absolute correct decision imo - Not a good time to possibly give away a 7 tackle set from their 20.

Good one Luke.

@TheDaBoss yep and Madden should go back to 20s. I still can’t see what the fuss is about his old halves partner is showing him how it’s done. Maybe another preseason 🤞
