Will agree Wankwest is Slimeys homeground.
Bulldogs will still be based at Belmore and WTS at COE at Concord.
LIVERPOOL would be an ideal location it is gradually being rebuilt its on a major rail line and not far from M5 & M7 motorways and not far from the new Airport and the population explosion that will occur in the future will ensure ongoing support for the club and its within Wests junior boundaries win win win for everyone
It’s the Bulldogs land it will be the Bulldogs ground with the Tigers being second class tenants just like everyone says BankWest is ... can’t have it both ways !
I dont think it will be built on Bulldogs land if they still own any out their it will be on Council owned land where there is an existing RL facility and the old Whitlam Sporting facility.
No the Bulldogs own the land where the stadium was planed previously and they still own it .. it will be the Kennel not the Jungle.
Or build another club or develope for high rise which is happening around that part of Liverpool
Oran Park and Camden is the future. Liverpool has been overtaken by these massive new Greenfields releases and WTs need to get a good slice of the pie.
But there’s no infrastructure there though . It’s just homes. It’s not just about homes it’s got to be somewhere that attracts corporate sponsorship. It’s the very issue with Campbelltown . There’s next to no corporate support out there .
The Deputy Premier appears willing to at least listen to the NRL. V'landy's himself seems proactive in terms of moving the game from the Bondi to Redfern Corridor. Time to strike now with the Govt looking to spend on infrastructure.
