Bankwest scared me off any " joint stadiums".

Redevelop one of our home grounds or play out of ANZ full time. Just pick something and stick. We cant be discussing this for the next 20 years.

It will be a venue same as ANZ no bodies home ground shared between WT'S & BULLDOGS and anyone else who wants to hire it the days of each team having a home ground are gone people expect modern facilities we are spoilt

Doubt it. It will be the same as BW and we can watch Wests play a home game from the Steve Price stand instead of the Sterlo. Maybe if the pick Terry Lamb stand we can trick ourselves into thinking its Wests.

ANZ does Neutral well, even wests management team cant mess that agreement up. No one owns it, no team has a direct/ historical links to it. Its the MCG for rugba leeg. It also has the facilities (i agree they need to be top shelf for the modern fan). Its really a no brianer for me.

Love for someone to spend some serious $$$$ on LO/CSS but very unlikley. If we cant have our own, go for the neutral and just play out of one.

Some trying to justify playing at another ground as a second class tenant when a ground that is in the heart of the Weststigers catchment is not suitable ! The excuse of a growth area blah.. blah heard that before 40 yrs ago . Remember the Magpies how did that work out ... this club is an inner city club like it or not .. I say Moore Park is the go !

Given up on that one even though it’s the logical choice , but with the transport corridors light rail at the door / M5 will be finished and the big end of town will love being there Moore park certainly comes into the picture .

A pox on your nice new stadiums. Humbug!

I'd be happy to split between Leichhardt and Campbeltown forever.

I don't see the point of building a new 20,000 stadium in Liverpool to just leave an existing 20,000 stadium in Campbelltown sitting idle. No hard feelings against Liverpool, it just seems like a massive waste of money.

What's the point?

I don't want to "cement a new identity", I want to keep our existing identity.

I'm happy to cheer with the Maggies fans at Campbelltown, cheer with the Balmain fans at Leichhardt, and cheer with the WESTS TIGERS fans at both!

Hopefully built at Edmonson Pk next to station and turn Campelltown Stadium into a smaller 12k stadium for Wests jnrs, Ron Massey Cup and NSW Cup playing and training

Liverpool's a great idea if you fancy getting mugged after the game.

As long standing Tigers Member and resident of Liverpool, I take exception to your pig-ignorant comments about the city of Liverpool. As one of the fastest growing LGAs in NSW, including the proposed Aerotropolis and associated infrastructure and employment through the Badgery's Creek Airport, a new campus of Western Sydney University, and a renowned teaching and expanding Liverpool Hospital, Liverpool is a vibrant, dynamic and evolving city.

Furthermore, I would hazzard a guess that on a pro-rata basis (look it up on Google) Liverpool would have more Tigers fans than your sleepy hollow of academic elites in Balmain.

You would, no doubt, know that Wests Tigers Junior teams use a space at The Whitlam Centre at Liverpool as part of their strength and conditioning training programs.

Well ....you probably wouldn't know any of that. Just let the 1950s ambience of Balmian wash over your thinking and spew forth with ignorance through your keyboard.

Liverpool and surrounds is the future of Wests Tigers. A stadium here, even if shared with the Bulldogs, would go a long way to building a sense of identity and ownership of a footy team by its community.

Do yourself a favour and take that short walk from Balmain, down Darling St Rozelle, to Callan Park. Book yourself in there. And, do us all a favour and leave your laptop at home.

Wow, I've never seen someone defend Livo with such passion. A little long winded but A+ for effort. Good job

i rhink the club will fully review its member base before a move to liverpool would occur. if we share it with dogs it is no different than bankwest is now and bankwest is closer to out COE than liverpool or canpbo.
ANZ would be the likely chouce as it is so close to our COE and Ashfield

OK I have to ask what does the closeness to the COE have do do with where they play..I mean they don't meet up there and travel to home games.....

Living within COVID times is this really a valid proposal?
I am not a NSW resident although i am sure the club has great information with postcode data to get a good idea where supporters are based.
Personally i would not want to share with another club, has anything good come of Sharing Bankwest stadium for the games we have played there so far we have a record of 3 wins / 7 losses.
Rather have leichhardt redveloped and Cambelltown as our two stadiums to reflect the amalgamation of 2 prior clubs. Both stadiums currently state capacity $20k.

I highly doubt that Leichhardt will get redeveloped to host 6 major events a year. Campbelltown has a chance as there is the new A League team but I feel Liverpool is more likely has it would potentially have 3 fulltime tenants.

Good point re the A league team. That could help the cause.

Just play every game at our spiritual home ground or fold as a club completely.
Any other ground will never feel like Home.

They folded two clubs WT'S do not have a spiritual homd ground heres the chance to get one.

I don't think Leichhardt or Campbelltown are options for this funding.

Liverpool would be WT'S ACT basically half way between Campbelltown and Leichhardt and if it did happen would a new beginning for WESTS TIGERS

Agreed mate, I think it would be great.

Playing out of Bulldogs stadium ? Think not ... rather the stadium at Moore pk !

Wests Tigers playing in the Eastern Suburbs again would be silly.

The club is an inner city club .. Balmain / Ashfield / Concord .. it is hard to understand !

So name change?

I wouldn't be against a complete re-brand of the club if we were to finally decide on a home venue. Whether that be Livo, Cambo or the Inner West.

As it stands we're a bit of a nomad club atm. Not fully embracing our Western footprint whilst clinging on to what's left of our retro era inner west links.

Having the training base at Concord and home grounds all over the shop says it all really

I honestly don't see why "*Not fully embracing our Western footprint whilst clinging on to what's left of our retro era inner west links*" is actually a problem. Why can't we have both? We don't need to choose between fibros and lattes, we can be fibros who drink lattes. Terrible analogy, but you know what I mean. I love the diversity of our fan base.

Well I have nothing against Liverpool...we stopped to get beer at a bottlo in Bigge Street a long time ago...

I found a house of ill repute and cost the bus about a 45 minute delay on getting home while they searched for me.....I enjoyed myself until I got home, barred from bus trips for the rest of the year, fined and had to buy a beat up Holden to get to footy for the rest of the year..

Loved Liverpool in more ways than one....

Still so early with all this chatter. We need to focus on our own aims and if this plan comes to fruition, cross that bridge when it comes. Right now we need to get our COE up and running, have some kind of resolution with Balmain leagues and re establish/improve pathways from MacArthur area juniors.

Ideally we’d play six games at Leichhardt and six at Campbelltown. Not possible atm, only time will tell if it will become so. Right now we have a deal with ANZ bankwest for four games a year until end of 2022, so plenty of water will flow under the bridge before and decision needs to be made.

Could build a stadium outside every single on of our homes, it won't become a fortress until the team starts winning on the field.

Doesn't matter how many goals we kick off field if we can't kick them on the paddock.

COE is totaly relevant
penrith dont have a COE at penrith and play at Manly. Why didnt they move the COE out at campbo then ?
West Ashfield wont move the ground permanently to liverpool or cambo qe are an inner cuty club 50 % and a cambo club 50 % Homebush is logical otherwise dobt build the COE in the first place

This is the exact problem I see with our greater fan base. There's still a deep rooted tribalism instead of a united front.

A good analogy for me is we're 'A man of many talents but a master of none'. Very conflicted identity.

I really don't care where our home venue would be, it's just that it would be nice to have a permanent one.

Each time we play at Campbelltown or Leichhardt, effectively half our fan base is cut off. Somewhere bang smack in the middle would be ideal and I'd have no problem making the trip
