Not great to be losing our best forward playing the Panthers ?

Minus Leota, Yeo and probably Capewell

True, but we still need our best 17 on the field to have a chance even against a depleted Penrith, imo.

Every side is copping it atm. We’re doing well having had only one suspension.

Is he taking the 1 week or contesting?

Haven't entered a plea yet. Have until 12pm tomorrow.

As many have said, Sims knee to the head was deliberate. He raised his knee while looking straight at the point of contact. Why doesn’t he get 6 weeks?

Ask Fitler and the Match Review Committee,i dont trust anything to do with Annesleys Empire they are as rotten as the late stages of the Roman Empire you only had to watch Cummins today to see how bad they are.

Just watched the Lucy incident again.
What’s people’s thoughts on this one. Only one camera angle from what I can see unless there was a reply later on, and he looks like his arm is separated and leaning forward with his shoulder but not lunging with force. Ironically Offa is seen next to him in better view doing exactly the same thing.
My thoughts is we fight it. It’s 1 game either way and losing him vs Parramatta isn’t going to make or break our season. Especially if Joffa is called into Queensland.

The bunker and MRC have access to more angles than what is shown on the broadcast.

Do the players get access to that footage prior to deciding to contest the charge?

Yes

Good to see the club going to the Judiciary to fight the charge.

Im not as sure. It looked pretty cut and dried to me, clearly a (weak) shoulder charge. If you watch the two tackles prior you can see that LL has injured his hand/arm and its hanging down useless on his left side, he made no effort to tackle (probably) for that reason.

It will mean he is out for 2 weeks instead of one which is a problem IMO.

Maybe, but when I compare it to others that have gotten off, including JWH, I reckon rolling the dice is worth it.

Yeah ...but you'd hate to lose both Jo O and LL for the Penrith clash

Maybe bring Musgrove in and get him to lay out Burton or Koroisau

He seems pretty handy at that

Musgrove is injured mate - 6 weeks away or thereabouts.
