Lockyer on footy show

I love this guy- a legend, but it saddened me @ around midday when i lost a bit respect for the man when talking about The Friday night game saying that Melbourne had their big 3 out and Wests were at full strength. Please do some research first Locky. Know your stuff. Off the field is different. I hope he doesn't turn into another Laurie Daley.

I don't think missing Tedesco really falls into the same ballpark as Melbournes losses.

We were missing Robbie and Ellis yes and then we lost our fullback 3 minutes prior to the game which forced some positional changes that wouldn't have been accounted much for at training. Given that and the rain down there, it was a good win.

They've had weeks leading into this game knowing they would be missing their spine and to prepare for this game. The rest of the team played above themselves trying to prove that they can win without their big 3.
We were missing Farah, Ellis and lost our fullback 3 minutes before kick off.
All this considered it was a great win.

I'm as big of a fan of Tedesco as anyone, but you can hardly include him with only 20 mins of fg. But anyway just another example of league commentators being the dumbest in Australian sport. Just because your an all time great player doesn't automatically make you a great commentator.

He's a good player. Has plenty of ticker. But not the all heralded genius he's made out to be.

I can already hear Happy Tiger frothing at the mouth….. sorry Happy - I... I didn't think he was as great as everyone north of the tweed made out...

Remember when Benji had his little incident at Mickie D's at the start of last season and it was alledged that the bloke said the Lockyers a better player

Benji said in a interview that If he had of said that , he would of agreed

So if Lockyer is overrated and Benji said that he thinks that Locky is a better player , where does that leave Benji ….............

Something to remind you of also When you make the Qld team and Australian (well the Qld team with Gallen and a couple of others) you are going to play with quality players

Unlike NSW ...... where you have lots of quality players to pick but they get missed and complete drongos are chosen (Not Robbie though)

Like you - I am a true student of the game over decades and apparently watch about 80% more current games than most of the busteds and kiddies on this site (who - along with ink & GNR - have made it unbearable to bother being a part of)!!!

Forget about the ignorant morons who still cannot see the quality of Lockyer!

In major games - he made more game defining/winning plays than Wally, Sterlo, Bert, Freddie, Joey and Alfie at their best!!!

A true champion despite his off-field dalliances.

I can still remember putting the sh*ts up a few a Broncos supporters when the headline said "Lockyer signs with Tigers " and was spouting it to all and sundry

lockyer's quality was consistency and that's what i respect him for. just like cooper cronk.

also, stop taking shots at me calling me "kiddie" etc. take my opinions as they are regardless of who they come from. if you can't do that, then i request you to stop referring to me. i respect your opinions whatever the hell they are, however i dont think that is mutual, so here's an advice for you:

1\. go to your user control panel
2\. click on manage foes
3\. type in mine or anyone else's usernames and click on submit.
