LOL new Wests Tigers membership TVC

I actually thought it pretty good (not in a serious vain) good to see the club trying different things…I also like airline food so there you go.

Haha the funniest thing was the lady not realising that she had dropped her handbag - seriously? Is that even possible?

Youre sharp Flip…not much gets past you

Matter of fact though, you;d be surprised just how often it occurs

Mayer said at a function a few weeks back the best way to grow the fan base is through kids - a 'water bottle' strategy. You go in to schools and give kids a water bottle with a Tigers logo on it and it's ingrained in them from a young age. They go home and show their parents and nag and nag and nag and eventually the whole family are at the football. He also mentioned a strategy the Western Bulldogs in the AFL do. They go in to hospitals in their region's suburbs and present new parents with a 'Western Bulldogs Birth Certificate' when a child is born. Very extreme example of the point made above.

I do find the ad a bit corny. The concept was great - the paint looks amazing, but the cafe, pub and handbag scene are pretty lame. Some of the boys put up videos from the day and they were 'roaring'. That wouldve been a good addition.

Ad was great , fun, a bit different and has created lots of buzz. The problem of those on here is they aren't the target audience for the ad. The ad however has got lots of play on various media websites, has created plenty of social media shares , etc and even a few pages on here so it's clearly doing a better job then a boring every day bunch of hilights. Grant seems really pleased with the buzz and results and that's what it is all about

Spot on.

Guess what…we are all talking about it.....it must be working. 😱pen_mouth:

A waste of money - pffft :unamused:

Minimal outlay, maximum return.

Seems like a solid marketing principal to me
