Ink people are sick of every season being promised things will be better with refs and it ends up being worse than the last
season

You can understand that , can't you

Most of us are Wests Tigers and Rugby League fans

If I may be so bold as to speak for Ink here - I'm sure he'd agree with you about the refs in general, Happy, but they really had no bearing on the result last night and I, like Ink, am wondering why everyone is banging on, ad nauseum, about the refs supposedly favouring Souths. Souths were clearly the better team on the night and deserved to win. Now the Cowboys/Sharks game - well that's another story altogether. Still though I don't think even that was ref favouritism towards the Sharks, more like a brain lapse if anything.

The Rabbits and the Sharks may have been the best team , but how often does the best team on the night lose

Again my point is that the NRL will show absolutely no accountability for what is happening with the refs , and I bet they all front up for next weeks semis

What about the other officials involved Ink Video ref etc

According to something I just heard on WWOS 5 officials are involved in the tackle counts and what about Channel 9 , supposedly the screen went blank where the tackle count went to 7

Why couldn't the Channel 9 director go to the video refs room and ask them to review it Would take all of 30 seconds and its not if it happens every week

Then we go to this option

The other option which could be most viable if this ever occurs again is , we go to the position on the field the 5th tackle occurred and restart the game

We do it now when a player passes the ball after the ref calls held at a smaller scale .

Why can't we do the same ??

Greenberg said all 6 officials are meant to count the tackles

They should all be stood down for not only next week but the rest of the finals

They wouldn't have refereed anyway Ink

They were doing the 4th ranked semi , so were the 4th ranked refereeing team of four games

And even the fact they were dropped doesn't help the Cowboys cause

And to add to all the conspiracy theories , funny that the two teams affected the worse by the calls made (Storm and Cowboys ) have a strong Qld connection

Very similar to 1989 when they were easily minor premiers. If they can't go that extra step or two next season whilst they still have the roster, it may be some time again before the chance at a title is within grasp.

Woke up this morning, realized it wasn't a dream. Best feeling ever. Watching a replay and seeing Rusty forlorn makes it even sweeter. Tried to buy a comp with half of England and they still choked.
