Blame Benji all you want. The problem with this club is that it is jam packed with reserve graders. I honestly thought we would go down swinging tonight…never did I think Souths would score tries so easy they would make a NYC player blush.

Anyway, thouroughly embarrassed by that lets bring some more young blokes in....they are awesome!
 
You know, I have to agree with you, stryker. I had heard everyone here rave about our young guns, but I see shadows of past players that were also touted as potential "representative" players, only to end up barely making it in first grade..We have to compare our young players with the ones in other clubs to see how "good" they really are.
 
Nah man, was down the club. Embarrassed by that. I was never a world beater but fair dinkum, that was shite and they deserve all the criticism that comes their way.
 
Our two best players tonight are still U20s players - Teddy and Nofo. Seasoned first graders like Blair, Pettybourne and Thompson are pillows.
 
Bunji Marshall has been pathetic this year since the centres even when they were at full strength never got the ball. The forwards before tonight's pathetic effort were doing the job, tonight they were all retards. To blame injuries is wrong since the results show a total lack of commitment by those given the chance.

WE need an overhaul of the entire coaching staff . Potter inherited an average team and coaching staff .

bmm is another you can add to that list . with all the juties iys his opportunity to step up . but not nmm , he is going backwards fast .
 
Where is all the "lets sack Farah threads"? This forum loves a scapegoat. Our problem is a terrible roster coached by a bloke who has no idea….simple as that.

I am going to the local park comp tomorrow because I want to watch footballers who are prepared to have a go.
 
I admit watching some of that defence was cringe worthy, words fail me watching these so called 1st graders with absolutely no commitment a sad day in Weststigers history.
 
Wests have had 50 put on them before, wests will have 50 put on them again. Suck it up and hope next wek is better.
 
we need to harden up, up the middle. pettybourne and Blair are just crap missed about 4 tackles that led to tries. great effort from teddy and nofo was our best player i think. But we need big guys in the middle i thought when Ava came on he was strong and Sue looked pretty strong all night. shift Sue to backrow and Ava into starting prop
 
That had to be up there with one of the worst defensive performances i've ever seen ever. How many tries were close range? hardly any
 
It's not about attitude, injuries or experience.

The problem I see is that we lack in skill and ability. All our current mob do not have any X factor, timing or flair, and from what I see in the young guys coming through, they don't have anything to offer either. Our recruitment and retention is shambolic and we are a long way off until we can fix this mess. This culture at our club needs to change
