I wouldnt be aurprised to see Parra gain a surge in memberships in the next week or two...especially if they can beat Melb tomorrow.
This sort of stuff makes fans.proud of their club. As much as i dont like to admit it they showed some fight off the field against their opposition.

I think this is the way forward with players wanting to leave . Remember JAC wanted to leave storm year early and they would only release him with trade which I think he had signed at the time a letter of intent with tigers on basis of being released

And I think it should be , when you think about it the club had plans with Galvin and recruited around that and then he leaves his contract early Richo and board should have said ok but we need quality in return to replace

But a little different champion @GNR4LIFE - Lomax is no longer within the Parra camp, whereas #Galvout was still a week to week Wests Tigers player, having a sook and we all saw the effect it was having on the team.

Slight difference. Galvin would have been chewing up cap space and disrupting the squad with all the noise around him.

Lomax is out of there already and Parra not paying a cent. Parra have nothing to lose at all by standing their ground.

I loved Richo, but the way he let Galvin walk in the same circumstances was soft. Maybe there wasn't enough $$$ to cover the legal fees, or those bullying allegations had legs.

Do Parra even have the cap cash to cover a like for like player this year? I reckon Lomax sits out and will go off and play rugby somewhere.

I would offer up Skelton and Toa plus $ 200 cash
Lomax for me would be a better team member for ability and strength in game plus his kicking than pushing for Bulla at 900 k , send bulla on his way and grab Lomax for 2 years and bring in the young guy from Penrith now , Lomax could also cover wing , centre , fullback if needed while the young guy builds his game , remember we bought in bulla with very little footy , it can work , just my opinion and I’m not a coach 😂

True, but I think if NRL wants to actually listen to the fans, whatever clause was part of Lomaxs release should be in every players contract.

Get RLPA on board and get it done.

How this whole Lomax thing turned out is just and fair. This should be the standard and NRL needs to lobby hard enough to get it to that place.

I CAN see why Matterson didn’t go to Melbourne without another year guaranteed.
So this now looks like being his last in the NRL, so why uplift your family and move interstate away from family and friends for the same money he will receive staying with Parramatta.

If Melbourne guaranteed him the additional year $ he would have gone.

I don’t think it will worry him playing out of reserve grade and collecting the same pay check.

Mattersons involvement confuses me ..first i heard of it today

...Did Parra want Melbourne to take Matto and 400k of his contract as compo for Lorax....but Matto said no?...

From what i have read Parra wanted him off the books and go to storm for 2026 - Matto wanted storm to sign him for 2027 as well - storm said no - so Matto told storm and parra to get stuffed - pure gold.
