Are you saying there is no general admission seats left? I was hoping to go along. So can't just walk up on the day?

None on ticketek

Bugger, just checked the website. Like you was just going to rock up on the night. The seats that are left for $50 aren't great seats either.

Any members able to sell me a couple of tickets?

Last game I attended was Wests Tigers V Canberra in Canberra on a freezing Winter day.
I had a good seat in the main stand but from memory would not have paid more than $15.
To me it makes Kayo @ $5 per month good value.
Thanks once again for doing those tape conversions for me.
And I actually felt good enough to have a look at another game yesterday.

How have you been?

What game did you watch back?

Went to the Cows game & stood in front of the two old stands, was told cant stand there, but there was a fenced off area there if I payed extra I could stand there. On the Monday I phoned Wests Tigers & they said they didn't know a thing about the fenced off area, Got me beat.

I’m quite annoyed.

I’m a member, I can get 1 ticket to the hill. That’s it, the hill is never near capacity, even during covid. No GA available outside of my 1.

I have tried to book 3 tickets anywhere, even if I had to forgo my GA membership. The only place I could get these are in either corner of the field, 3 tickets for just less then $180🤦‍♂️. Which is a rip for where they are located.

It’s nuts, the ground will be around half capacity, 2 days out and I can’t even get GA tickets anywhere 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️

As a member and a supporter of this club I demand the right to be able to attend games in the Sydney basin to watch my team if I choose on any given weekend!
The club is now negligent in not giving me that opportunity as there are options that would allow this !
It is now time that with the stadiums available that our club move into the modern era ..if its not bad enough that us supporters are being GOUGED financially to attend out dated and limited attendance facility's the club continues the mantra of LOCKING its supporters OUT!
I wanted to attend on Friday night ...in this day and age I should not have to pay the outrageous prices or have to book a ticket weeks in advance to attend a match .
If Leichhardt is not a Covid safe venue why on hell is the club playing there !
We should be playing at Bankwest on Friday night with a capacity of 30k ..playing Penrith there a crowd of 18k would be on the cards and you just roll up and get a ticket if you.. WOW how good would that be .
Our club really needs to get its act together in this matter !

No offence Snake, but you need to get over yourself. Has this got anything to do Covid? You well know how that works, this "I demand" is laughable tbh. If it annoys you that much, plan to stay at home and watch it on the box?

This Covid thing at outdoor venues is a joke - i recently went to a local game between Lake Cathie Raiders and Comboyne Tigers in the Port Macquarie 2nd division competition. It was at Lake Cathie and has a hill that runs the length of the ground. There would flat out being 100 people at the game in an area that has had no covid cases since it started. I rock up at the gate at get told i have to log in on the app. WHAT???? Sorry i don't normally bring my phone to a 2nd div football game in the sticks with no mobile coverage. Get told will have to sign in at the canteen - yea right. As i said the hill runs the length of the ground but the whole 100 or so of us are crammed in around the halfway mark. Sometimes common sense just gets thrown out the window.

Well actually I think the login is s fair, I think it's even mandatory for venues to require COVID sign-in and I am pretty sure they get in trouble if they are inspected and not compliant.

It's part of the alleged problem in Melbourne right now, where reportedly (I note it is anecdotal) they don't police COVID logins as energetically as NSW or QLD and also happen to be the biggest lockdown city in the country.

Or put it another way: try and visit any restaurant, cafe, pub or club in NSW and refuse to sign in, see how far in the door you get.

If it rains heavy enough, I may have a 2 of my 4 available ;-)

What do you mean if it rains ...it's a Leichhardt game ....it will pour down

100% correct mate. The QR codes were there to scan but most people didn't bother. That's changing now but, even so, I've never once been challenged to show that I've scanned or signed in.

This is the reason why crowds at Leichhardt are down.
They only allocate about half the numbers the hill could fit.
Same thing happened to me against the Cows was going with a large group but only tickets available were $60 so only ended up being my daughter and me.
When we got to the game the hill was no where near full.

There you go once again the club being dictated to by inner west greenie lefties.. Yes the gates are shut again locking out supporters .
Can some sanity prevail and this club get a home ground that ALL can attend its 2021 for god sake ..this HAS to stop !!
Talk about amateur hour..... Yes Bankwest is in Parramatta but 30k can attend ..enjoy watching on the Tele honestly.

Its not inner west green lefties, its COVID. There are no hills at Parra to stand shoulder to shoulder at.

Snake is wrong but the idea of not being able to sit next to each other on the hill, but they'll happily plonk you together at a stadium - that's baloney to me.

E.g. I sat on the hill for the Manly trial and they made us sit in columns with big "no-man's lands" between them. In the Cowboys match at LO they didn't do anything at all about the stand seating, but they did again heavily restrict the hill.

Fast-forward the Parra match at Homebush and there's 30K of us all squished together because they have closed the upper tiers and we are all allocated on the lower tier. If I'm not mistaken I had people in the rows directly in front and behind, which was unlike all my COVID Bankwest experiences where they put a spare row in-between each filled row.

But regardless I was rubbing shoulders with the guys either side of me at Homebush all match, then all 30 thousand of us thundered out of the stadium and jostled for a train seat - numbers per train absolutely unpoliced - to get home.

But apparently you can't sit 10 thousand on the hill because that's too close - outdoors mind!!!

The seats at cambo are practically on top of each other.

Another post covid thing I hate about LO you can’t stand up @ the Stand side anymore in between the stand and ground level seats near the coffee cart that was my favourite spot

The seats in teh members area at leichhardt in the "concourse" section in front of the stand are the best actual seats in the world of public stadia.

They must be 30 years old now and they all look new, are comfortable and fold down aoutomatically so at the end of the game everyone can walk on top of them to get out. They are brilliant, not sure why other grounds dont use them.

Only negative is when you leap to your feet to cheer, you have to remember to open the seat up again.

Reached the point of no return now, so she gets the goldmine and I get the shaft...but that's ok, I'll be better off mentally.
I'll be in a tent for up to 6 months until I can take delivery of a VW Transporter to convert into a campervan, and that's ok as well. I'll be able to travel around Aussie which I have wanted to do for a looong time.
I was in a bit of a blur watching the game you did for me, but I think it was Wests V Balmain at Lidcombe Oval 1999 and I think Wests won.
If you get to tomorrow nights game ENJOY watching Wests Tigers win :hand_with_index_and_middle_fingers_crossed: :hand_with_index_and_middle_fingers_crossed: :hand_with_index_and_middle_fingers_crossed:
