I've been a huge lote fan ever since the rumor mill got going 2 years ago.

However at the final siren it hit me
No more gibbs molts payten and it dawned on me that lote is well past his best.

Id much rather see beau and Utai or brown as our wingers.

Am I been to harsh on the big man? Was it just the season of injuries or is he done??

I agree he was not at his best but I think it's due to his injuries. I saw him at gear zone a few months back and was a very large lump in his arm where the break was and plate was inserted. I'm surprised he was running as fiercely as he was even with the protection on his arm.

However a full off season will do him great and I think he will be ready fire next year.

i dont know why you would rather utai 😕 he isnt a very good winger

lote will be better next year if the injury gods are nicer to him

give the guy a break, he was coming back from injury for the third time this yr. He needed games under his belt. He deserves a little more faith then being told he should probably retire just beacuse of a couple bad games. Judge him next yr, not this yr

some people sure are fickle. Will turn on you at the drop of a hat. They go from 1 extreme to another

He told us tonight he will be playing in 2012.
He also said that the 2011 Tigers know they could have done better.

Lote has always been ordinary under the high ball . His speed and damaging runs are now missing . A off season retirement may be coming
We have John Grant coming next year - he scored a hat trick in the rugby GF qualifier yesterday . He has speed and size - similar to Pat Richards

He'll bounce back, he is a professional.
When he's firing he is one of the classiest wingers in the comp.
Things like this happen following injuries and missed games, unfortunately.

Lote > Gasnier

I hope so as I've said I've been a fan since day dot and still am. Guess your right been to hard on him with a injury plagued season

how can we judge him on this year, he has been injured all year, next year, providing he is injury free we see him as per usual next season

Other clubs offer their winger and fullback protection under the high ball but for some reason we don't. Lote is a great winger . Utai is an okay winger. Can't catch and can't tackle ( unless im mistaken and it's only gasnier he can't tackle ) ?

Utai has been ok in defence in the more recent games of our run of nine. I was a critic of his when Sheens moved him to centre but I guess is small nuggety frame and low centre of gravity allow him to plant his feet and drive.

The problem with him against Gaznier, once he planted his feet and Gaznier done his always predictable shimmy, Utai's feet were planted and he was left grasping thin air.

But ild rather Tiquiri over Utia any day.

I guess different people have different views and opinions on somethings. With a good off-season, I find it hard to believe Tuquri won't be back to being our best or in our best two wingers in 2012.
