Lovett

I admit I havent been his biggest fan but i swear the last two games he has been pretty good.

Tonight he ran good lines and looked like breaking tackles.

No silly stuff and tackled hard.

Have i got it wrong?

Is this guy a sleeper and actually good??

He has ticker and always has a red hot go. Slowly improving too. He's starting to earn the right to no longer be referred to as the supporters whipping boy.

I take my hat off to him. Last year I was critical, as were most people. This year he has shown steady signs of improvement and keeps improving at the moment. He does a lot of dirty work off the ball, his hitups are slowly becoming more effective and he has a very good workrate. Justifies his spot over Sirro.

I agree, and touch wood he has very few mistakes in his game.

Yeah he's fought his way out of the supporter's relegation zone. Kev and Dene are sitting there now, I'll bet they're sad that the human shield Buchanan has left.

As I mentioned in another post I reckon he did a job tonight, big improvement very solid compared to his previous games. Only thing I could pick on is his slow play of the ball, seems to get dominated in the wrestle more often than not but his lines tonight were great and had the Broncos guessing & on the back foot….

Might have something to do with the way he was used off the bench, I reckon JT injected him into the game at the right time & hooked him at the right time.

He might have even played him in position... sweet baby jesus 😛ray:

Steadily improving. Thrown in too young. His quality was on display in City v Country and I think he took confidence from that match.

Made Glenn look silly a couple of times…

Keep it up Kyle...

I labelled him a plodder last season,he's proven me wrong. This is why I don't get the "Siro has had his skill Coached out him" quote. If Siro just played like Lovett has this season,he'd still be in the side.

I thought tonight was his best ever game in first grade. Probably why JT kept Aloiai on the bench for so long. Keep in mind it was against a half strength pack but you can't fault him tonight

Very impressed, in fact since city v country he has grown but in general this season has been better.

Also and I've mentioned this before his struggles are when we have had an early injury and he has had to play 80 minutes. When he plays 40 or 50 then he doesen't get tired as much.

100% deserves his place over Siro at the moment

I agree, it's like he has realised, **" boom "**,I can have a good impact in this team.

Plays with a lot of heart. It he plays a role within his limitations, he has an impact on games. Maybe clutching at straws, but is he perhaps learning some things off recent signings, or the city country set up?

He seems to be getting bigger and bigger so maybe that is helping his game. Anyway this kid is on the improve and that is always a good sign.

Thrown into first grade at a young age, I've always seen a future for him. Has a really good tackling technique and has never shown any fear of taking on the big boys. Yes, he has improved this year and maybe playing rep football has given him that extra confidence. He now makes the opposition tackle him because he never submits.

Going well, he was never as bad as people were saying.

He was pretty bad. A couple of good games and people quickly forget.
I still can't find a spot for him my full strength 17.
