Lovett

+1 I am another converted lovett hater! Hes really stepped up this year. Im so happy we kept him now. I wish sirro could do the same tho so disappointing. Ive been hating on the wrong man all this time. Good on him

I thought he went okay last night. Coming in off the bench is the go for him as a support player to a reasonable forward pack. If he is good enough to start it means we are in trouble.

At least he seems to be showing continual improvement even if only gradual. I would def keep on the bench instead of Dene.

Edit: Having just looked at the team for next week, I may omit Kyle for Chee-Kam. I see MCK as a handy benchie to also cover the backs…

Lovett was very good. He has grown a leg since city country….at this rate of improvement he is going to be a very handy player in the future. It's all about attitude and I reckon Taylor is using Lovett and sirro as an example to the squad of the need to work hard.

The way things are going, he is going to become a solid first grader who will probably make max $250k and will hopefully become a reliable structure player in the future.

There's no doubt that he's lifted a cog or two in recent weeks. I was corrected recently for calling him 'too small' and, it's funny, but when I watch him now, he seems to get bigger each match. The difference last night was that he actually looked like he would break tackles and, in the end, he did - more than once. Now he now needs to sustain this form because I still think players such as Fine and Chee Kam were unlucky not to replace him. I'd definitely have him ahead of Siro.

Going well, he was never as bad as people were saying.

I never had a problem with a player that gives his all both on and off the field being chosen. Now he is older, several kilos heavier and infinitely stronger, he is starting to more than hold his own in defence, though I do wish he could find his front a bit more often.

Was also a Lovett doubter - he has been improving.

Happy for him to be on a rotation to come off the bench with a few others including Chee-Kam. There are a few that should be given a go from time to time in the NRL.

Horses for courses and it will keep them all happy and we can see if there is anyone we should let go.

However, Happy with Lovett at this stage (I was wrong again).

Noticeable improvement back as far as the Sharks trial. Has shown guts, determination & discipline and deserves his spot.

Big heart player imo.
He's won me over this year, I'm a fan.

Really liked how he stepped up against the Newcastle player,
Thought he was on the more timid side, I was wrong.

He was and is pretty bad. Definitely shouldn't be in the top 17.

Agree.
Once again we have a win and people find reasons to praise.
So predictable.
He was one of our weakest on Friday.
