I honestly see no value or logic in keeping him for 23 if he's leaving in 24...

Newcastle can want all they like but if clubs do not release players they are getting nobody.
Newcastle will make a play for Adam Keighran from Roosters once they don't get Brooks for 2023 and if they get Brooks for 2024 Keighran would just move to centre or 14

It's a moot point because the clubs have now agreed to it. Just had to get the Hull thing settled as they made a cheeky last minute play for Brooks over Clifford, but now they've taken Clifford off Newcastle's hands it's all good to go.

Has Brooks been on the last few years ones? Can't remember.
Joffa makes sense but interesting Nofa is on there as well.
AD and Hastings wonder if they will move off if they don't sign up in the next month or so.
No Api and Papa our 2 biggest and best signings or a young kid like Stefano either.

The only value would be we just don't have anyone better running on the otherside of the ruck to AD & don't want to finish last.
We could shift Laurie into it but what if Staines is a flop at fullback - we would be running with 2 new very inexperienced players in key roles which majority of the time never works in the NRL.
We are very very lite on in the halves with Madden gone.
