I agree with that. I think he's a very capable 6 in an attacking sense (his D needs to improve) but he's stuck carrying the team attack because Brooks is either not willing to have a crack or on the occasions he does he stuffs it up

Adam Doueihi would be a Cody Walker type player with a good halfback. Over peoples poor read on him.

No chance he is like Cody Walker. AD isn’t a dynamic ball follower hi energetic player who is elusive with speed/stepping.
AD is a set and run style. His best games are when he goes hard, uses his strength and deceptive speed running straight early which then creates space outside him to use. I love it when he runs direct, he nearly always creates angst with defenders.

Look his defence is an issue, but I can say that about almost all WT players. Would you say AD is like Justin Hodges.
100% AD is not our Fullback. I view him as a Center but he seems to fit 5/8. I really disliked the poor attitude shown when Hastings was in the team and AD/Brooks claimed their spots, if they were performing (AD is now, 2022 less so) they can claim.

Does he really cop it. I have been critical but coming from a belief that he can be a quality player. He hasn't performed that way for us. I think he was the best of our spine last week. His defense is pretty bad.
I also don't think he is anything like Cody Walker but he is a good runner of the footy.
Not close to the middle, but inside the 5/8 yes

Walker was 2 or 3 years older when he debuted. Adam will kill it in his late 20's

I think you are right; he has the potential to be. However, he won't unless he improves his defence and doesn't fade out of games.
I don't get the impression that anyone hates him - he simply has not lived up to the expectations he has of himself nor those that passionate supporters want from a first grade 5/8.

This is very similar. I said recently I'm not sure if he is good enough to be the main play maker. If he fixes his defense and works on his game I think he can be a really good second option.

All im really commenting on is how people have turned on him since he wanted a pay day. Before that it was him wanting his name pronounced a certain way that sent the forum against him. He is not a fan favourite and i question why that is. I think its slack. All the guys whose opinions on here i respect like the guy, thats enough for me.

It wasn’t a 5 on 3 though.
Pause it as the ball is played; there are 9 titans in play, 7 outside the ruck with Tino hanging out the back of the play the ball. We had 5 outside of the markers.
Then goes at follows. Simpkin at marker no pressure on Verrils he is aloud to drift a couple of steps and finds a short ball to Liu who runs towards Stefano.
At that point A marker stephano is meandering and puts no pressure on Liu. Liu drifts across Stef and engages Blore with the tight run of Jollife running a decoy. Blore gets sucked in and Liu passes out the back to Foran as Blore hits Liu.
Then Foran with Fifita outside, Brimson behind and Sami and Peria has a 5 on 3 against Douiehi, Talau and Nofa.
I mentioned someone needed to provide the inside pressure on Foran, it starts even further, Stef at A marker needed to apply the pressure on Liu and then it all goes better from there
There's a handful of blokes who bag him relentlessly. They're almost the same group who make every excuse under the sun for Brooks
