This has been my point for years, shit with Brooks in the team at 7 or, or a big OR, what else/how else could it be worse with any numb nuts in the 7? It couldn't have been any worse, was only ever an upside or sideways move to replace Brooks with anyone else on the planet.

I do. It’s 100% Pascoe and Co’s fault we had 10’years of Brooks. It’s not even a case of hindsight being 20/20 in this case. Brooks has been shit for 90% of his playing career. They could’ve punted him years ago and took the hit but maybe secured someone.

Yeah, except Brooks occasionally had a blinder and we caused an upset. Good luck with that with Wakeham.

Those 1 or 2 games a year were great to satisfy the mediocrity and Stockholm syndrome this teams fan base suffers with. I always just wanted a 7 that could win games more consistently and had at least a 50% win record, too much to ask for?

I'm sure Wakeham if given 11 years will come up with 10-20 blinders too. We already saw one this year in 10 mins against the dogs. Brooks set a very low bar though, very low.

In recent news, Tigers management sacked another coach and no one applied for the job, they hired Fulton without consulting the "coaches" they found under the lounge cushions and lowballed and lost their decent half when there is no replacement available that is half as good.

Not sure how many games u watched this year but the amount of times we had been in opposition half and came up with nothing .

I can’t see DCE extending beyond his current contract at 37? Brooks has 2 seasons beyond that. But sure, there’s a lot of footy to be played up to that point.
I’m just admiring the forward thinking by Manly, a team I’ve never really liked.
Brooks didn’t drop much in salary, $50k maybe?
With DCE, Jake and others he will disappear from the constant criticism of Buzz and co, for a season or two and play his best footy.
I’ve always thought he was one of the best 7s in the game
