Many years later, this will be correlated to the return of President Trump, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon for a second term resulting in bedlam and turmoil the likes of which ye have never seen - argh.

Funny hey, consecutive sets to start the game last week we get errors from just about every forward on our team and one gets carted off. The narrative is our poor last tackle options.

One of his worst performances I have seen, but boy, he wasn’t alone in the shit stakes. Hastings too went missing.

They’ve just added Milford and Clune has outplayed Brooks all year. Plus they have Jake Clifford who is also been playing better. Please, lets get into the tired routine where just because they were linked to a club once, that we link it to them for the rest of their career. We’ve seen it with Noffa to Parra, Liddle to the Dogs, Garner to Manly. These players were linked to these clubs 5 years ago in some cases.

Hastings has been missing most of the season. Outside of the field goal against Parra, I fail to see much else he’s done. And the club feels the need to sign him a year before he‘s free to talk to other clubs. Talk about desperate. That goes for Laurie too. Another Harold Holt.

Yea but he was behind a beaten forward pack or Poor service from dummy or players are too tall or bad coach or bad halves partner or he was told not to run the ball or he’s running the ball too much or his boots were too tight.


Don’t be a hater man.

At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter what excuses people made for him. They aren’t the decision makers. It’s the 4 or 5 coaches that have picked him week in, week out for 7 or 8 years. What relevance does it have if a few ham and eggers make excuses for him on a forum, and why does it outrage people. Channel the anger where it needs to go. To those making decisions.

I dont often critique any of your posts GNR as I respect your input,however,Hastings has been an inspiration to this team this year at halfback,he was missed for 3 games while suspended,came back and the team played very well,he is also carrying an injury but gets on the field to hopefully inspire this lot he has to play with...if you and others cant notice the difference between him as the general and Brooks for 9 years,then Im sorry but you are picking on the wrong target in Hastings..
I also think Laurie hasnt really recovered from the broken leg last year mentally,but I suppose we have to give him time to deal with that,if he cant then another has to be found to fill his void...cheers mate...

I will have to respectfully disagree. Idk how much of an inspiration he could be considering where we are on the ladder. We’re still floundering the same way we did before he was here. I’ve made my opinion known on Laurie dozens of times. No need to repeat myself. Cheers Ziggy.

Hastings has been okay. Since the Souths game, teams have figured him out and are defending him a lot better. He hasn't developed his game since then. Needs to target the space behind the markers more.

They will but at least they havnt had 160+ games to perfect it haha.
