Luke Brooks says Tigers can cover for injury to Farah

Geez this is going to be tough for the team. Farah is an enormous loss that can't be measured, especially on the back of losing Tedesco for a lengthy time as well. Whoever is put in there, be it Luani, Fulton, Cherrington or Austin they will not have near the same impact as Farah. Everyone in the team will need to lift big time if they are going to win any of the next 6 games.

Does this mean Farah will miss Origin 1 as well? If so, it's massive loss for NSW also :frowning:

i agree austin should go to 9\. he has great pace off the mark and i can see him making some good metres from dummy half, as well as having a great passing game.
id put him at 9 and anasta back to 5/8th. i think he (austin) could do a good job there while farah is out.
as someone else said, halatau would be the perfect replacement; how long until he is back anyway?

I'd love to see Austin in the team somewhere, last night he underplayed his hand well, but there is no way Potts will play him at hooker. Hooker needs to tackle all day, anything that moves. Don't make me eat my hat.

MY initial thoughts were Austin, but not sure he'd handle the big forwards running at him all day. He'd be quite good in attack though.

Being that Luani has been resigned i think he deserves a go and see how it pans out after next weeks game.

Player profiles on the WT website says Austin is a 9 does it not? If so, then it's a simple fix. Surely that's a no brainer.
