Pretty sure Fulton debuted and played most of his early years at center, could be wrong. I thought he did the same as fitter, daley etc

Even so I think it's more difficult these days, so much more pressure and media attention etc, particularly being the 7 at a high profile club like the tigers.

you people are expecting a lot from a boy who has not played one NYC game..lets see how he goes for at least half a season under that pressure and then comment…and for Miller , he may not make it , but could be a champion , too many probabilities...

I find it odd both Brooks and Moses didn't play NYC after their SG Ball commitments last year as other quality players like Lovett, Sironen, Groat, Miller, Nofaluma, Tedesco etc did in previous years once SG Ball finished in April. Where they injured ?

Both players had Australian Schoolboy commitments after SG Ball finished, and shortly after the Australian Schoolboy matches finished, Moses broke his leg at training I believe.

I have only seen Brooks in one game for the Aust Schoolboys & he was light years ahead of anyone else on the field, he has maturity beyond his years. Hasn't he also had his share of injuries?

Ink you don't know so don't guess.
Luke has had a right ankle and lower right leg break back in 2010 when his leg got caught under a tackle, he then had a break of his lower left leg in 2011 when his calf was impacted by a knee and last year broke his thumb. The leg breaks were both freakish and he has recovered well from both, in return games he has put in MOM performances.
With a great injury free preperation in the off season he now has the oppotunity to show how good he can be.

Luke broke his thumb in round 7, he was close to being available and Luke was desperate to play but the Officials thought it was in his best interest not to, he also missed the National Championship game as a precaution the following week.

Thanks mate. From the highlights for the GF on the NSWRL site I thought Daoud went okay. He actually looked more impressive than Moses, although Moses was sensational in setting up one try.

Cherrington looks all class. I am interested to see how he develops.

Daoud goes good but is not in the same class as the other 2, he has followed Andrew Webster (Balmain SG coach) to Parra, I believe he will play hooker there. Cherrington is very quick and can carve up from dummy half and he also has a good passing game, he will need to work on his defense this year but that will improve with him bulking up in the off season.

Looking at the jnrs coming through the Tigers look to have an amazing development program through Balmain,Wests, Keebra & the Academy I don't know who is responsible for it but they have done a great job. If anyone told me 5 years ago that we would have a better nursery than Brisbane I would have laughed. My only disappointment is that the Tigers couldn't find a position for Andrew Webster he looks to be a great coachin the making(albeit I do not know who was on his staff for SG ball or the impact they had on the team)

On Andrew Webster the Balmain SG team went up to Qld to play their U/18 champions, Balmain had 8 of their starting team out and still won convincingly.
Luke Brooks, Mitchell Moses, Mania Cherrington, Daniel Rakvin, Paul Simona, Leki Taumalolo, Mark Daoud and Leva Li who are all in NYC squads currently, missed this game for various reasons.
If he wasn't coaching I couldn't see them winning that game, he instills confidence in his players and really knows how to get the best out of each of them.

Cheers Flash. I was at that game in Brisbane & even when NQ were on top he remained calm & appeared to have a calming influence on the team. They were an exceptionally well drilled team.Flash are there any players from Balmains SG Ball that have moved onto other clubs other than the 1/2 ?

Yes another 2, Leki Taumalolo has gone to Saints and Alex Zarounis who was MOM in the Brisbane game has gone to Cronulla.

The following from the ball side are in the WT NYC squad currently, Brooks, Moses, Cherrington, Rakvin, Mason Farrell, Nathan Milone, Salesi Funaki, Simona, Max DiMarco, Maile Li & Leva Li. Farrell is out for this season with an ACL.

Here are the links to the highlights and Interviews from that National Game if anyone is interested. Courtesy of the QRL Website.
