Just paint a number 7 on your back and put on a Superman outfit. Same thing.

Finally we have a halfback. Only taken about 8 years.

We had a halfback, pity he was an idiot off the field. Watch the 2010 and 2011 finals series and you will see how good Lui was becoming. His return to form this year has helped the Cowboys.

I must admit I have been impressed with Brooks for a while and I hope he continues his development, he is an outstanding talent. His debut game is probably the best I have seen for a long while. Listening to Joey on Tripple M he was so excited for him. We really need to get Joey or Fitler in every week to work with our young halves.

He was outstanding It was beyond expectations, and it was his control that was impressive he didn't push the pass he knew when to kick he knew when to run and didn't overplay his hand.
I know he will have some down moments but I think we have a real gem on our hands I hope we signed him for another four years, I'm genuinely excited for 2014 now not because I expect to make the 8 but just for the young guys to gain more confidence and roll onto 2015 in a big way

Back to under 20's now to be competitive in the finals, he doesn't need to take on the rabbits next week

I would prefer he does play this week just off the bench though to show him what it is like to play against the comp leaders.

Can't play against souths as they are in the top 8\. May also not play against Cowboys for the same reason.

Exemption was only for this week.

Wow I was worried at first about how much pressure we were all putting on this kid, but how composed and at home did this kid look in first grade. Well done in extending this kids contract Grant.

I really hope he gets some media training. Very fidgety, all the 'aye's and the 'yeah nah's. This kid needs to be marketable, more relaxed. Just about the only thing Benji is still great at

He is 18 and just debuted…..Players at that age wont usually be doing all these interviews.

GI is one of the worst interviews in the NRL yet will probably win the Dally M

If Luke stumbles through every interview and plays like a champion I won't give a rats ,that's for sure

Yeah I was thinking about that earlier, you think back to some of Freddies first interviews and he was just as green, same with Joey, Money Bill etc.

I'd much prefer him to be a gun player than an interviewer, but the value of having an active public profile along with being a weapon on the field such as a Benji or a Cherry Evans is invaluable to marketing the club and gaining memberships.

That being said, I'll most likely get one anyway because of today's performance and I wouldn't expect him to be Beau Ryan instantly.
As for players at that age not usually doing those interviews, with performances like that, he could be doing a lot more interviews. Media training would be a good thing

The biggest compliment I can give him is that creates time from being able to read/plan the next play before the previous one is completed. I think that he was passing a bit earlier than he had to today (possibly a bit of self preservation) and when he delays the pass a little more as he goes to the line, he will be even better.
