He offers absolutely nothing. Last tackle kicks are the worst in the game. They let the opposition of lightly on 99% of his last tackle options. Takes the line on half heartedly and had absolutely zero game management. The number of times he passes to a forward on the 4th tackle is bewildering.

How else would he get in position for his world class bombs

The thing about being a good team is you need to be able to come up with plays and compete for 80 minutes. They did that for 13 minutes and then clocked off thinking it would be good enough. The Adam Doueihi-Luke Brooks partnership isn't working. They need to make a change with the halfback.

Only you blokes would complain about brooks and doueihi after we get pumped by 30+

Our combinations are like 6 games old. We’ve been under the pump in every game. Defence has leaked the most points in our entire history. We obviously have no issues with points. But yeh let’s complain about halves not being perfect in a team getting pumped weekly.

He has played 150 games and had multiple combinations and it’s the same old story. It doesn’t matter who his 5/8 is. His chip kicks on last are on him and no one else. He said he was happy Benji was gone because it’s now his team. He calls the shots. He calls the plays. Continuously calling for a forward to run it on the 5th tackle and then putting a nothing bomb up on last is on him and noooooo one else. He doesn’t have it in him. Just like it’s time to cut our losses with madge it’s time to cut our losses with this guy.

I honestly think with Madge’s entire career on the line, he’ll role the dice with Madden.

Game plan or not. Every kick went about 30yards and about 10 yards in the air when Brooks was ‘kicking to corners’ yesterday.
Swap DCE and Brooks, with his kicking game in our side and we win it’s simple.
It wouldn’t have been as easy as Manly managed to beat us but we would of still kicked Manly out of the game after we were in front.
🙏🙏

It wasnt Brooks kicking game which cost us the game,it was the pathetic arm grabbing and the lack of any lateral movement in defence

with every fibre of my being, I believe Brooks biggest problem has zero to do with his physical ability.

We play perfectly well at the start of games, but consistently fall to pieces after a few errors or conceding points... I am beginning to put it down to a lack of team belief that Brooks can guide them out of it. He certainly isnt barking them orders and driving them. He is as lost as the rest of them, for the most part meekly running sideways and distributing to players so they can run into the teeth of the defence, he rarely asks questions of defenders, or open gaps by playing at the line, he plays as though our hookers couldnt put an extra 8m on their passes.

If you were a player, in this current team, you get 10 pts behind... who do you have faith in to turn it around, produce scoring options? Forwards can run hard, backs expected to do what they can when they finally see ball and the stripe....

I dont think anybody on the face of God's green earth thinks that is Brooks.

He is zero chance at half back, 2/10 chance he improves at 5/8 but that puts douehi out (who is still learning but offering more)

It’s been said before; if Madge is going to persist with Brooks, then it’s on him.

And that’s why they both need to go.

That will be a great start to righting the wrongs

Seriously mate did you watch the game Doueihi had a shocker. He needs to learn how to play 5/8 in reserves is my view.

I did but hes been solid the other weeks. Brooks on the other hand is 150+ in

They need a dedicated halves coach. To teach them some game management. As soon as anything happens that is off script, the whole team goes to water and there is no one to guide them back. Tamou might provide some emotional type leadership but they need a General. I think Brooks has a lot of talent but he is too meek.

Mr Teflon.

Too fragile a player to drop just incase he loses his bundle.

Should have been demoted after the cowboys game but the coach is trying to build him up.

As most long term fans understand, he is what he is. You can't make him better by having his back.

The only way he improves is through accountability.

Both halves seem scared to go away from the game plan imo

How often have we seen eyes up footy this year?

Plus

- James roberts night mare doesn’t know how to run straight

- doueihi can’t defend again (Foran try)

- doueihi and brooks no on field talk

- whole team no on field talk

- pathetic back line that made zero meters

- crap forward pack

List goes on and on
