Brooks and Laurie were theonly ones who looked likely on Sunday . Just saying ! Doesn’t excuse his kicking game , As that’s just A grade at this point , but things like “he’s the worst footballer to play 150 games “ really show the irrationality of the person saying it , than reality . But yes his kicks are garbage . There’s no defending that .
He's not the worst player to play 150 games but I can't think of a less inspiring halfback playing NRL at the moment.
Yep , that’s fair . But it can change from week to week . Like I’ve said , I’ll reserve judgment until we play teams that don’t have 8-10 internationals. As there’s 2 competitions. The top 4-5 and everyone else .
Honestly he could have played against an under 10's team team yesterday and would have been outclassed. He's done. He's just not up to it anymore.
Doueihi was worse, but IMO deserves a bit more leeway as it was his first proper crack in the halves for 80 mins
I agree with @Strongee though , unless we sign Munster and Cleary tomorrow, give them their time in the sun as we don’t exactly have blokes knocking on the door anyway
I am a massive Doueihi fan but he was absolutely terrible. But he hasn't played 150 games in the halves.
So because of 150 games you want the guy to solve miracles ? I don’t understand this argument . A good kicking game wasn’t changing Morris and teddy destroying BJ .
He has no killer instinct, he does all the little things wrong and he never, ever motivates his teammates. At the moment he is the worst halfback in the NRL.
That’s fine mate . But it doesn’t change my point , Andre johns wasn’t going to fix the picnic the roosters were having on that edge . You can build pressure all you want , but the moment they spun it right , it was a 50m gain . Of course Brooks was ? apart of that edge , but not really the root cause .
